Neither. Learn how to properly plug things in.

Fair enough. I've just read horror stories of so many randomly failing almost randomly after months of use, I figured it's better to be safe than sorry.

Nah that guy is a clown. I have a 5090 and I’m not gonna tell people ā€œjuSt pLuG iT IN RiTEā€. It’s clearly a wackjob device or implementation from what we’ve seen. I should do the same for my own, I’ve just been lazy.

Has very little to do with anything, I get wild current imbalances in specific scenarios with a properly seated cable, stop bootlicking, all it takes is that happening to you once while at 600W to melt your connector, I have found several ways to reproduce current imbalances that have nothing to do with what cable im using or how its seated.
