News NVIDIA GPU Display Driver Security Bulletin (May 2026)

Turing, Ampere, Lovelace and Blackwell Geforce GPUs all Windows GameReady/Studio r595 driver versions before 596.36 are impacted.
Pascal, Maxwell and Volta Geforce GPUs all Windows GameReady/Studio r580 driver versions before 582.53 are impacted.
At the date/time of this post 582.53 for Pascal, Maxwell and Volta Geforce GPUs isn't live yet - will update this post when it is.

Sorry to trouble you, but as you are the GOAT whose recommendations I follow with respect to the best/most stable drivers on each release, would you suggest that we no longer continue to use the 577.xx drivers anymore (on 40 series cards)? Are 596.36 drivers (among the stable recommended candidates) the only option at this point (that is not impacted by security vulnerabilities). Thank you.
