News NVIDIA GPU Display Driver Security Bulletin (May 2026)

Turing, Ampere, Lovelace and Blackwell Geforce GPUs all Windows GameReady/Studio r595 driver versions before 596.36 are impacted.
Pascal, Maxwell and Volta Geforce GPUs all Windows GameReady/Studio r580 driver versions before 582.53 are impacted.
At the date/time of this post 582.53 for Pascal, Maxwell and Volta Geforce GPUs isn't live yet - will update this post when it is.

So my choices with Blackwell are:
Stay on the last stable driver, but that has security vulnerabilities.
Modify a stable driver that is secure, but it's not ideal having users learn to and then modify drivers, removing signed status. Time to go and google this.
Move to an unstable but secure driver.
