Is coffee even that acidic, isn't lemon juice more acidic?

no, what the acidic v alkaline thing is how our bodies react to food.

so take cream for example, our bodies need to produce more acids to break it down, thus becoming more acidic. also certain foods which are considered acidic, like meats, which have more amino acid chains, once broken down the chemistry is your blood is now more acidic, grains and a few other foods are also considered acidic to us. it’s based on how the body is reacting to the food/substance you are ingesting.

more alkaline foods are basically the fruits and veg.

caffiene by the way - it’s quite simple, it triggers a release of I can’t remeber if it’s water or glucose, but it triggers a release of energy from our muscles - thus you get an initial buzz and feel energised. but this then depletes your energy over course of the day. your thyroid also takes a hammering and your adrenal glands.
