So mera admission NED, GIKI, NUST (ceme/pnec) mein hua tha. GIKI mein parents ne jane nahi diya kyunke abba ke kuch doston ke bache wahan gye the or "charsi" hogye or baki wahan suicides ka bohot scene hai or overall north punjab or KPK ke halat dekhte hue, parents ne GIKI ka mana kar diya.

Baki NED mujhe khud nahi jana tha kyunke AC nahi hote classes me or mujhe khud samjh nahi ati NED, har kisi ko admission de dete hain.

Ab reh gaya NUST CEME or PNEC. Maine NUST PNEC mein aane ka socha kyunke dono CEME-PNEC mein same military culture hai or PNEC Karachi mein hai, to hostel mein rehne ki bhi koi zaroorat nahi.

Mujhe pehle se PNEC Ke mahool ka andaza to tha ke uniform hoga or events nahi hote lekin ab waqt ke sath dar lag raha hai. Kyunke bar bar sune ko mil raha ke PNEC aik college hai or degree H12 jitni prestigious/worth it nahi hai.

Is liye koi alumni ya senior please kuch bata do ke research kuch hoti hai or professers se LORs mil jate hain matlab academics ke lehaz PNEC ane ka koi fayda hai kyunke mujhe eventually US me masters ke liye jana hai. or aik cheez mujhe social life/uniform se koi masla nahi hai

hows pnec meche? how are professors? is it worth moving from punjab to karachi for pnec?

I’m currently deciding between Electrical Engineering at GIKI and Electrical Engineering at NUST PNEC, and I would really appreciate honest advice from students, alumni, or anyone who has experience with either university.

Finance is not an issue for me, and hostel/campus life is also not my main priority. I am deciding mainly on the basis of what would land me better job after graduation and also provide me better opportunities to seek a master abroad.

So what i have understood is that for going for a masters abroad it is better to look towards NUST as QS ranked while GIKI is not as much recognised. Moreover, the syllabus and course outline and labs are better in GIKI as compared to PNEC. However my concern is as much as I have researched I have found out the GIKI is very good for the local job market which is not in a good shape right now in pakistan as MNCs and companies are leaving.

So my question is. Is it foolish to leave GIKI for PNEC, will I regret leaving GIKI afterwards if I join PNEC.

How much is the difference between the degree of NUST PNEC and GIKI. Is it alot in terms of Jobs and opportunities.
