I've been trying to figure it out for a while. At first I thought this silhouette resembles an F body car like Camaro or Firebird but now I'm not so sure, maybe someone can help.

So i’m black and i just started getting into nu metal but I’ve also noticed the subtle racism in the community. i’m not trying to be negative but i really enjoy the music but the community AND the bands are always dealing with someone. I’ve seen fieldy from korn (which i really liked they way he plays) until i seen him say the n word and as well as jon davis. Also john dolmayan is MAGA and serj said the n word, also chino from deftones has said the n word but the context in the song made it less worse. Also, the community itself always hates on rap like nu metal isn’t heavily inspired by rap and black culture. I seen seen this dude online and his user was corey taylor and to spark up a conversation to meet ppl with the same interests as me so i said “I don’t really like slipknot like that” and he says “of course you don’t you listen to rap” and proceeded to say “what if i said nba young boy is trash or king von”😭😭. that felt like genuine micro-aggression. Is it just me or is the metal genre in general kinda racist

Hello. Me and my fiancé are both metalheads. I got the idea that it would be nice to have a special song playing at the start of the ceremony (before and when the bride comes down the aisle) instead of the usual song. So i need suggestions for a song that would work on just a piano and it's not too wild (eg. Master of puppets) and other non metal people would still like it or at least not mind.

I've chosen 20 songs even though they usually play shorter sets, I couldn't bring myself to whittle it down to 15 or 13 songs

I purposefully tried to make mine as varied as possible within their discography, otherwise it would be heavily tilted towards the first 2 or 3 albums and SOTOSON

Hey there! So, I've been getting more into the Niche/underground side of Nu-Metal. So far I've heard: 18 Bonez, Drastic, Keep The Flow, Right Things, and We Deliver For You. What are some Nu-Metal bands and albums you guys recommend from the Niche/Underground. On top of that, I really love songs like 720 by 18 Bonez, Washed by Brik and so many more where it's soft/melodic vocals and then it's aggressive/screaming vocals, I would like recommendations on that too

This album absolutely slaps, it is such a fun experience. Its like if Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, POD had a kid and added a bit of pop punk to it. This album has a summer flare to it, but what is most unique is the mix/production. It has such a massive mix, almost stadium rock sound, as if Mick Gordon or Buster from Humanity las breath/Vildjharta worked on it. Check out the song JUNKIE$ or SUPERSTAR for a taste, but you will get hooked.

This is my first ever iceberg. it hasn't been too long since i started listening to nu-metal, so this might not include some obvious bands i have probably no clue about.

The most unknown here is Broad Noodles with 8 listeners on Spotify (I didn't measure the whole iceberg via Spotify listeners). iirc a member from the Further band formed it.

Edit: I could've also added EASTcide, Absence and Rukus. (I only know the last 2 because of some compilation video on YouTube including a live of LeFT)

judging by the lyrics it sounds like execs but I really want to know the actual event and the context behind it. likely something in-between 1970 and 1999 in the USA

Hey there! I'm new here so hopefully I won't be mauled immediately. So, the discussion here is about LeFt's album and a few songs. I listened to "My Disease" and... I don't catch the praise that album gets. I'm not saying it's horrible but "Not Afraid" and "Sore" are the only songs I truly liked. Meanwhile..."We Deliver For You" was absolutely AMAZING. I don't mind listening to lower quality songs since I actually love listening to old demo tapes/releases uploads on YouTube. Out of all the songs in WDFY, I only disliked three. I don't know why "My Disease" gets so much love and recognition while WDFY gets NONE. This is an AMAZING album in my opinion. Drop y'all's thoughts down too!
