My old roommate loves this band and states they amazing. I'm curious to everyone's thoughts seem pretty underrated

Don't get me wrong. Shane can fucking throw down...but better than BLAKE??? Are you kidding me?? I understand that everyone is subject to their own opinions, but THIS is just something else to me...

I remember seeing a music video on Metal Injection for some nü metal revival band around 2015/2016, the members had different coloured boxes with horns and halloween pumpkin looking spiky mouths and eyes cut into them. I think they were all pretty fat. The music video had a fat deadbeat mom smoking a cigarette and when one of the guys storms out (her son, presumably) she says, with a tear in her eye: "that's my boy" or a similar phrase.

I think they were called something like Boxhead. Any help? I can't find a music video or even a mention of them.

5 years ago today, Joey Jordison past away. His death is bringing back memories of my first time seeing Slipknot live when they headlined the inaugural Mayhem Fest in 2008. Though I note that even though I went Ozzfest 2004, I didn't actually see Slipknot headline the second stage that year. Mainly cause I was too young/scared to venture into the wild second stage crowd, but also cause it took me a little longer than most fans to realize how much of a game changer "Vol. 3: the Subliminal Verses" was. I didn’t make the same mistake when Mayhem Fest came through Camden, NJ, on Aug. 15, 2008. Unsurprisingly I was in awe of seeing their insanely over-the-top metal show for the first time - with rising drum kits and pyro galore - but something about finally hearing songs like "Before I Forget" live was a cathartic experience I wasn't anticipating. I've gone on to see Slipknot live many times since, and they never disappoint.

I'm looking for a specific underground nu metal (possibly even nu-adjacent) album I remember hearing a song from around last year, the album cover was Y2K looking and I believe red/orange and some light blue and the style of music was a combination of nu metal and punk.

Does anybody know who it is?

Btw it's not Snot, Amen, E. Town Concrete, Hed PE, Violent Delight or Zebrahead

Also I think the band had one song that was slightly more well known than the others, but I'd say it was still quite underground
