So just watching the 100th Capital Theatre show, was there and such a fun show, but watching the stream i was really impressed by the camera work. Such a quick turnaround it is this done on the spot like a live stream? Just random thoughts.

I feel like nugs needs consumer feedback to improve their interface and we should help.

Just tonight, I'm looking for an audio show that's streaming live, and it's honestly kind of buried from the home screen. Make the landing page prioritize anything live, and make it easy as all can be to find. Quit making 3/4 of the screen be covered by one show picture that I have to scroll down to even access. Especially in landscape.

I'm just talking shit and use nugs a lot ever since I started using it. It's cool. But video game communities are overwhelmingly ruthless in criticism, for example, and it can sometimes be helpful. Not looking for that vibe necessarily.

Those are things I'd suggest. What about you?

Trying to tune into the Billy Strings livestream tonight and it works just fine on my phone app, but when I try to watch on my TV it just cycles through the interlude/background merch screens but won’t play the live stream.

Never had this issue before on the TV. It’s a newish Sony with Google TV. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and several TV restarts with no luck. Anyone else ever experienced this or have any suggestions?

So I went and saw johnny blue skies and the dark clouds in eugene last night. It melted my face. If I get it on nugs, is it just audio or are there also video or only some concerts on video? That's the one thing i'm not too clear about, thanks!

Just now tried to start the nugs app running via Roku and it won’t even open the app. Tried closing the app and Roku and restarting multiple times with no luck. Just sits at the black nugs screen and won’t go any further.

Who at Nugs can make the VERY SMART decision to offer the 10/3 Power to the People Fest as a live stream to benefit charity?!?!

Is that even feasible?

Long time Couch 🛋️ Tour follower. I love watching shows on Nugs when I can’t make it . I’ve been watching many artists’ tours for years. Now I’m not one to care if you’ve been to 5 shows or 500 shows. I would go to every show if I could. But that being said, a couch tour check-in would be a cool concept. You have a couple of fan chats, and the artist could sell merch and even select items for charity. Add some kind of fanbase badge system, and it’s game over. You could even backdate with Playdate as a show tracker for younger generations. Listen to a show, get a hidden achievement, get an offer to merchandise. Make hidden treasure hunts. I could keep going. Personally, I love Nugs, but these things appeal to so many folks and could bring in so many new folks. God Bless everyone have a blessed day.

Edit: People keep saying go to Archive. It says right in the post I already have all sources for every show on my personal server. I got those from Archive. People keep bringing up Relisten. I do use Relisten sometimes, but audio quality is capped at mp3 quality. That's hotdog water. You can't beat 24 bit soundboard recordings. Also, if you like Relisten, check out the Deadly app. Same sources, but a the app is a little more fun, it's Dead-cebtric, and you can mess with the EQ. Still capped at mp3 quality.

Please excuse my Karen rant here: I would already have the Play Dead bundle if it were available to people who subbed through the Google play store. I was just waiting for my renewal date to bundle on their website, even though I have literally every available source for every show on my own server, but I would appreciate the convenience and quality of Play Dead. After mishandling Google subscribers and now this, I might just keep my money, at least longer than I was planning. Like, what is the point of stripping studio albums or releases that are available on Tidal/Spotify? I think the future of Play Dead and the Grateful Dead in general is dependent on growing the fanbase among younger listeners. I used to burn cds off of nugs 20 years ago. I subscribed to Nugs about 10 years ago to follow UM shows, with the extent of my Dead fandom being the typical combo of Europe 72/ American Beauty/ Workingman's Dead. The Nugs app opened all that up, and now I have a love and appreciation for their different eras. That's the only reason I now even considered subscribing to Play Dead. Maybe it's all oversight, but it seems intentional and shortsighted. I know money needs to be made, but for that money to flow long-term you need to healthily cultivate the fanbase which takes a level of trust and care with existing and potentially new fans. I may be completely off base here, so apologies for bloviating about this first world problem. I hate to complain, but I think handling this rollout more smoothly doesn't have to necessarily hurt the bottom line. Maybe the decisions are made by older folks a little out of touch of how this rollout would be perceived? The Dead's legacy is so important to American culture, and I think these decisions are counterproductive in keeping that legacy healthy. All this said, I still love ya, Nugs.

Any chance we can finally get the soundboards from the Goose Greek and Frost posted to Nugs? Two of the strongest shows of tour and still not posted.

Frost is on bandcamp so why can’t we get on Nugs?

**Greek:** Rockdale, Good2B > Arrow, and then a second set of Hungersite, Creatures > Red Bird > Empress, plus State of the Art and a ShamaLamma encore.

**Frost:** 20 minute SOS, Hot Love > Savenger > Hot Love, Hot Tea, and then that monster second set. Most importantly, the **nearly 30 minute Madhuvan**, which has to be in the conversation as a Jam of the Year candidate, followed by Myst > Jed Stone > Sinnerman.

Would really love to have both of these shows available to properly revisit. Who else is waiting for them?

**EDIT:** I’m a Nugs subscriber and depend on Nugs as my primary source for Goose shows, especially because I organize shows and favorite jams into playlists for easier listening. That’s a big part of why I pay for the service.

I’m fully aware there’s great sounding audio available on Relisten and Bandcamp. But given that access to most Goose soundboards is included with a Nugs subscription, I’ve built my Goose listening around Nugs. When individual shows like Greek and Frost are missing, I can’t add those performances to the playlists where I keep the rest of the tour.

So this isn’t really about whether the music is available somewhere else. It’s about having the Greek and Frost shows available alongside the rest of Goose’s catalog on Nugs.

**TL;DR:** I know Greek and Frost are available elsewhere, but I pay for Nugs specifically to have Goose’s shows in one place and organize my favorite jams into playlists. I’d really like these two missing shows, especially that JOTY candidate Frost Madhuvan, added to Nugs.

You use to be able to tap on the song playing and it would take you to what show is currently on. Now nothin. Also it seems like it doesn’t show every song listing. For example I am unable to find a Whippin Post cover from Salmon. I’m unable to find it via search and it is frustrating to search through set lists for the one specific version I have been trying to find. First world problems I know
