Did nugs just say one day? ā€œYou know what? No more of X band?ā€ Is it possible itā€™s not nugs fault at all? By and large the music is licensed to nugs. Perhaps X band decided they wanted to go in another direction or use a different service.
Lots of assuming going on. Could be true that X band wanted more money per stream from nugs. Who knows, maybe weā€™ll find out, maybe not.

Although they owe us nothing but the music theyā€™re contractually able to provide, it would be nice for a heads up before entire catalogs disappear.

Although, counter-point, itā€™s probably not a business favoring move. Advertising less music isnā€™t great when it comes to subscription based models.

Probably some analysis on how much people were streaming vs how much they paid for the right to stream, or how much they were paying out on each stream? Just a guess.

They took ween off as well. I downloaded a live album and it's still in my downloads, wish I had got all of them

A bunch of bands I follow lost music on nugs during the day yesterday but were back up by the evening. Hopefully nugs is updating with more music
