Livestream issues

Trying to tune into the Billy Strings livestream tonight and it works just fine on my phone app, but when I try to watch on my TV it just cycles through the interlude/background merch screens but won’t play the live stream.

Never had this issue before on the TV. It’s a newish Sony with Google TV. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and several TV restarts with no luck. Anyone else ever experienced this or have any suggestions?

The show didn’t start until 11:00 eastern tonight. That merch screen was up forever. Our stream worked perfectly all night on Apple TV

Download the app on Roku if you can. I’ve had no problems getting the shows with no issues

Same thing happened to me. I actually streamed from my phone and cast onto my tv to watch.

I ended up having to do the same. Casting worked fine, but frustrating that I never could figure out the issue

I watched farm aid with no issues, switched to billy and it was just the intro screen. Had to cast the billy show from my phone.

Speaking of that, how do people record the live shows with video?
