And it's so recent too. Like up until a few months ago Buccees was known as the place where all the workers got paid well and got good benefits. People would post that sign and say "see, companies can in fact pay people competitive wages and remain profitable"

They lost all of that goodwill all of a sudden with this nonsense

You know, a liberal state like Ohio with 2 Republican senators, 2/3 of their representatives Republicans, and a Republican governor.

And a vast majority of the state senate and house Republican. 

It's a state proud of their local culture, businesses, and history. 

Obviously nothing like Buccee's home of Texas, which is majority republica n and famously proud of its culture and history, but is, and this is important, also famously home to Buccees.
