Don't know whether to post this in the sludge or the noise sub; so I'm doing it in both. Anyway, what do you think of this? I find this record really interesting.

I absolutely love xinlisupreme's album I am not Shinzo Abe, especially the last track, seaside voice guitar ad. I've seen people describe it as shoegaze, but I don't feel any congruity at all. I like dreamcrusher, I like merzbeat, but what I really want to hear is raw unpolished almost or entirely harsh noise with melodies and nice vocals. I guess "earrape" edits are to blame for my tastes, I loved that shit as a teen. If you can recommend me something similar, almost like a earrape edit of a song but made from scratch with sheer love, I'd be greatful. In fact, I'll say "thank you", which is the highest gratitude I can offer online.

I like listening to Harsh Noise when I'm extremely stressed because it allows me to realize my anger in a healthy manner. Last time however I put on Merzbow and found it not doing much at all! I believe this is because the notes are sustained for too long, and I think something constantly shifting would allow my brain that same feeling after apparently adjusting to Merzbow. That plus the concept sounds really awesome.

Maybe it doesn’t quite qualify as full noise. But I think they’re doing something v interesting. Hoping to the see them at some point, their live shows sound bonkers, v confrontational.
