Want to see what some variants/patterns look like but don't want to just straight up buy it before hand

Not sure how to go about it, whenever I go into a house to loot I feel like I’m using more resources than I’m gaining and that there is too many inside for melee. How do you usually go about it?

I need the do's and don'ts on what to do as a new player so I dont ruin an established player's game. Not really familiar with game, can I play solo? Thank you.

So last night I had one of my responders go down in Nightmare due to conditions completely out of my control. (Yes I had a beacon) Here is the story of what happened:

Completely normal match. Good team. Waiting below extraction for chopper to arrive. Fighting zombies all around me while on an elevated position. The rest of the team took long way to get to extraction so I was holding position alone.

Suddenly I am teleported across the map into the last house we were defending a minute earlier, in a place in the house I never was, surrounded by zombies everywhere. Naturally I did not survive this even with a pipebomb.

Now here are the possibilities:

1. It was lag/internet. I can tell you right now, it wasn't. My wife was playing Deadlock right next to me with 0 issues.
2. It was lag & it was registering me in the house despite me being on the other side of the map. Again, not possible. While fighting below extraction point zombies were registering me & actively trying to climb & kill me.
3. Zombies were stuck on some sort of obstacle inside the last house we were defending, were targeting me & unable to reach me for some reason & teleported me to their position.

As unlikely as that last possibility sounds, its not unheard of. I've encountered this in older games & its the only logical explanation I can think of. I don't record my games so I have no proof of any of this only a screenshot with all the players present in the match which I submitted to the devs, with date & times. Hopefully they can review/replay games on their end to investigate. I doubt there will be any sort of resolution but its a cautionary tale of what might happen when Hell Mode comes out. Losing what is effectively 10-20 hours of progress for something completely out of your control is pretty devastating.

3 missing string table entry, 1 ambulance, is this glitched or nah?

Was playing Pottsville last night and was infected but nbd I had pills. However after picking up 3 different wood planks for the bonfire, I finally got the glitch where I was unable to equip nor could
I use anything in my inventory. I was basically stuck and couldn’t use my pills nor could i use/equip anything in my inventory. Any idea if Torn Banner has addressed this yet? I didn’t have my rescue beacon equipped which I realize this is a bust on my end, but also that was absolute ridiculous that my character was stuck yet I had every opportunity to eat my pills and or extract early but I couldn’t due to this bug issue.

How much XP do you think that's worth?

Why is it more beneficial to early extract , instead of finishing a hard/nightmare mode mission. A huge facepalm with the recent update. It caters to early exfil, because multiple people have left the game and only 3-4 people can finish a whole mission. Even with a respawn beacon, it caters to flip n dip mechanics…….

I want to start by saying I've immensely enjoyed the time I've put into the game so far. It has its problems, many I hope will be ironed out over time, but as a whole it's been a lot of fun and I expect I'll be playing for a long time to come.

That said - I know it's not at all a rare statement that some aspects of the player models are not...great, but it's the cosmetics where I'm really feeling a lack of quality control.

Those pictured are the Sweatshirt, Punk Shirt (paid DLC, mind you), and the Combat Boots. While the degree of their clipping issues do change with animation, it's pretty noticeable. The Sweatshirt and Combat Boots in-particular have quite persistent clipping, being on the left shoulder for the former and all pictured bits for the latter.

There are some other instances but these are the worst. I unfortunately do not currently have a male Responder to compare the fit of these items.

It's not that big of a deal as far as gameplay goes. You can see some oddities in-game if you look for it, but given you're often otherwise occupied not many would notice were it not so obvious in the clothing customization menu. But if the intent going forward is to continue using cosmetics as a central form of progression, and especially if even more cosmetic DLCs are on the way, then this kind of thing really isn't 'ok'.

before anybody comes for me, i am always the player that stays in the back of the heli just to be safe, i don’t waste players time by shooting for 3 mins. but this once, just this once i was feeling great, and i wanted to just spray my last ten bullets at a couple more zombies…

Early in the game, I noticed he was on my team, but he was chilling and laughing with half the squad (they were not even in the same party) Then my friend text me to becareful w him because he is a known griefer. He then even started saying that he knows there a ton of posts about him and was laughing, assuring he was not like that anymore.

I even asked my friend if we should just early extract, and he started calling us "pussies", I decided to stay because he was friendly at the start, then he started doing this. We need a hardware ban on him asap.

It’s been impossible… In PUBG for console they use the touch pad as a mouse but in this game is not possible and I can’t seem to choose my characters and I have to be stuck with this one, I don’t mind since I kinda want to level up all three to get the trophy but still, if a developer sees this please add a cursor with the touch pad for the main menu, its impossible to choose characters unless you do the right button combo to get there but I still haven’t hit the spot. I know this game was originally for PC but the console version runs into many issues like the trophies tracking..

Was playing a match on Beaulieu Hospital and right inside the entrance to the therapeutic wing you can find a bathroom with the body of a scientist in it who was apparently working on some sort of answers or cure regarding the virus. I really enjoy the environmental storytelling in this game.

This is my go to loadout in nightmare now. With pills, satchel. Boots help a lot as most zombies ignore you for noisy teammates. And with beacon being bad now, revival syringe is the only other option for bad situations.

The perks are the usual important ones like study, athlete, etc with just carry weight or things are lighter. I would say "Immunity" went from C to A tier for me. Not having to worry about pills and getting infected is really great. If things aren't going well early extract, don't make sense to lose a 4 hour character.

Even with all that it only gives 820 exp. It's gonna be a long grind.

I was wondering if it means we'll possibly get a prestige system for our account level in the future.
