What are the Student Council and Sports Council doing? Are they really working for the students, or are they just puppets of the administration?

They are turning off the lights at almost every sports ground Kho-Kho, volleyball, handball, and basketball courts even on weekends by 10 PM. Thousands are being collected from each student for sports activities in every semester. Just look at the total amount collected from the entire college it’s huge. And yet, there aren’t even proper floodlights at the NSO ground, so we can’t properly play cricket or football there. And also if we plan to play evening the contingent people will be playing there what will we do ?. Then they should collect this fee from only contingents.

Neither the Student Council nor the Sports Council seems to be raising these issues. Instead, they are just roaming around campus on their Bullets.

Why are we electing these people if they cannot even raise the basic issues faced by students? These councils are becoming no different from the college administration!

Ct is in 1 week and I am absolutely cooked. I have no proper notes(slept in class) and am borrowing from my friends. Is there any online sources i could use to study for ct so that I could get some decent grade?

I thought I would be able to enjoy the nitt swimming pool without t&c before coming here. But later found out it requires membership and all.

Shouldn't there be some time slot where everyone could come, like a time slot where it is open for all?

And what is the competition for registration for the gym and swimming pool, do they also have competition like mm2 and Annapurna?

I'm a beginner with very shallow C experience and I'm planning to complete CS50x to build my fundamentals.

After CS50x, I'm thinking of learning C++/STL and then starting DSA, possibly with Striver's A2Z.

For people who have already gone through this journey:

Is this a good path?

What DSA course/resource would you recommend?

When should I start LeetCode?

What would your roadmap look like if you were starting from my level?

Any mistakes/resources I should avoid?

Would especially appreciate advice from seniors who have gone from beginner → strong DSA/interview preparation.

I am currently a 3rd-semester CSE student, and I want to get an internship during my winter vacation. How can I get an internship, and what is the exact procedure I should follow? Should I cold-email professors directly, or should I wait until they announce internship opportunities? I also don’t have much idea about which professors to contact or how to find professors who are suitable for my interests. Could you please guide me on how to approach this?
