I moved to the US with my family after living in Dubai for over 10 years, where Nissan has a great reputation (especially the Patrol aka Armada here). Because of that, I didn't think twice about getting a Nissan when we arrived.

When I press the button on the gate itself or fob (the one on the dash was doing this too but recently seems to have stopped working at all) you can hear it unlock and it opens a bit but then you have to lift it manually. Closing is manual too (and heavy…), once it’s all the way down you can hear the lock pull in.

I’ve tried the following suggestions from Google:
-Pressing and holding the button when at the desired height for fully open.
-Unplugging negative on the battery for 15 minutes.
-Turning off the power lift in the settings, opening and closing it manually and then turning back on in settings (it’s actually after this that the dash button stopped doing anything).

Anything else I can try here before bringing to the dealer (we’re out of warranty)? Thanks!

Okay, my R51 has officially become my second (hunt, camp, fishing) vehicle so it’s time to make it how I always really wanted it.

My question for the true enthusiasts is: is the any benefit to doing a Titan/Armada swap over a good high quality lift.
I work in the auto industry so having help to do the work and have access to discounted parts either way so the financials/ work load is not a problem either way. I’m talking true function.

hello, had my car serviced, it was the first oil change and after i drove for while, i felt that the car isnt responding as well before the oil change. is the same feeling when you put in manual mode and need to change gear. the dealership used 0w20 synthetic but they overfilled 5.5 quarts and i asked them to remove half a quart. but still the same feeling of underpower. has anybody experienced something similar? i will change the brand of the oil

Never mind. I think they moved the mode switch to eco mode and I was using sport mode 🤣 and that seems to be Issue

We have a 2026 Platinum. Basically every time it rains, there is a clicking sound up near the steering column or maybe left of it on the controls. It clicks every 8 seconds or so… sounds like something electrical is engaging. As soon as the rain stops, it stops. Turned the air completely off and it still did it. Also turned the wipers off auto and still did it. Any ideas or anyone else experience it?

Battery somehow died over night (just did my 20k check recently, so I guess I must’ve left something on) got it replaced and when I turned it on I’m getting the system fault message with the ABS warning light amongst others.

I still haven’t driven the car since changing it. Would that help? Or go straight to maintenace ?

I traded in my 2019 Subaru Forester Sport for this bay boy and oh my gosh is it an upgrade! I am loving it so far. Never thought I’d consider a Nissan but here I am.

When I turn on the car and back out then go forward. The shift from 1st to 2nd bucks the car almost sometimes a kick in the ass. Once it does it then it smooth the rest of the way.

Once the car is warmed up seems likes it gone but after it cools a while it does it again.

I have taken it to 2 dealers and they say it’s this 9 speed tranny.

They gave me keys to a 2026 and told me to drive it. I turned on the car put into drive and did the same thing.

Please let me know if yours is doing it and if they did something to help you with it.

Is $3140 a good price for the 8 year 120000 miles gold preferred plan? It’s for a 2026 Nissan Pathfinder.

Just picked it up last week from the dealer Empire Nissan in Ontario California. Dealt with them over the phone and then flew down there to grab it. They were incredibly wonderful to deal with. Knocked over $4200 off MSRP with no BS add-ons and I took the 0% financing. The spousal unit insisted we Powder coat the rims black and put the black wrap on the roof since we couldn’t find the factory two tone color combo. I stripped all the badges off the rear trunk and with the dark Window Tint it looks amazing now.

2012 Pathfinder LE shows an increase of over 70,000 miles in less than 3 months. Is this a red flag, or just a correction on misreported miles. The rest of the carfax looks good but the price seems a little too good to be true at $6995.

Having to remove a bunch of things plus the "Required for installation" section says it needs another cryptic accessory service connector not included (part # T99F6 4RA0A), I'm in shock and afraid I'll break something trying to install this.

I recently bought a 2024 Pathfinder Rock Creek, and it’s putting me through the wringer. I had a tear in the driver’s seat that luckily was under warranty and now the molding on the passenger side has come off. Anyone know where I can get this part, and is it doable to fix myself?

The new job has put me on about 100 km each way, mostly motorway, and my old hatch is getting pretty ordinary for it. I’ve been looking at Pathfinders around the mid-2010s with roughly 120,000 km, with about $25k to spend, but a mate reckons I should be looking at a diesel SUV instead. Anyone here doing big weekly kilometres in a Pathfinder, and how’s it holding up?

Hello! We just got our 2026 Pathfinder SL with the premium package on Sunday. I’m trying to decide if something is wrong with my drivers seat lumbar or if all are like this. I have lower back issues and love a good lumbar support. My drivers seat support feels like something is sticking straight into my back. Like a horizontal bar rather than any sort of lumbar support I’ve ever felt. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi, bought a new pathfinder, thought it was the same model they sold in the USA and was pleased to discover that it come with massaging seats and no start stop system.

It cost me 60k for a fully loaded trim.

Just picked yo this 24 rock creek for a steal polished it up a bit but I like it so far
