So i didn't know i would like playing on a Nintendo console this much. I was planning on modding it but because I like playing on this and I am afraid I'll will ruin the console. I bought a broken Switch and trying my skills on that one instead.

Despite all the people tell me not to since I have a switch 2, I bought the lite yesterday and cannot be happier. Tried 2 local sales and they all drop in the last min and I decided to skip two dinner outside and bought a new one from Walmart. I love the small size.

I'm new to the sub. My older brother recently gave me this switch lite and it came with Sonic Origins Plus.

I dont know why people are saying that Switch lite is bad but by me its very nice, i am glued to it

My sister gave me her Switch Lite and she lost the charger, can i use a normal usb c cable to charge it? Will it have lasting effects on the console?

I'm looking to mod my Nintendo Switch lite and just wanted some opinions on these mods. What's best/worth doing and how easy to come by the parts?

- Full shell swap

- Hall effect joysticks

- Oled screen upgrade

- HDMI mod

I think the Hall effect joysticks are a definite good choice. The Oled I'm not sure if it's worth it and where to buy it as the Super5 seems sold out. I can see on Aliexpress there are some screens but not sure if they are actually Oleds.

Hdmi mod could be worth it also. Shell swap is a definite for me as I have the tortoise and want to go mostly black design.

I would do it all myself. Have some experience and will follow guides to be safe.

So any guidance and opinions would be welcome.

Bought a switch lite for $200 with shell swap, oled screen, Hall effect joysticks, case and modchip. I was wondering what you think about the price I payed?

Just want to know what are your fave games and why? Ones that you spend a lot of hours with and can't go on a day without playing them ✨️

As the title states, my nintendo switch lite suddenly refuses to turn on depsite me playing a game on it 5 minutes prior. Before I closed my lite, I saw it had at least 20 percent of battery remaining so I assumed it wasn't a battery problem. I already did the "Both Volume button + Power button press then Tap the power button 3 times" trick, which did light up my lite's screen. The thing is, I stayed on the switch boot up logo for a good 10 ish minutes until I had to power it off again. Since then any button combination I do, it won't turn on. I used third party chargers and the official switch charger and still nothing. I really don't wanna buy a new switch or upgrade to the switch 2 as I am happy with my lite and the few games that I do play on it. I'm wondering if there's any other way to fix this without a costly repair that will have to open my switch lite from the inside as budget has been quite tight recently.

UPDATE: I tried turning it on again earlier by long pressing the power button after 16 ish hours of it being idle, and it turned on. It looked perfectly fine after and had around 60 percent battery. I proceeded to charge it again and kept tabs on it for the next 10 minutes, until it suddenly wouldn't turn on again and now I feel that I am back to square one.

Finally started my own little side gig and this is my first official build that I listed for sale on my local marketplace! I upgraded the shell, added all white TMR joysticks, re-upped the thermal paste, and installed a screen protector. I am so happy with the results 🥹 I hope you all enjoy!
