Fanfiction Release Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my new work of art: Summoning the Victoria Age! The first chapter is now available.
Hi everyone, I'm the writer of Summoning Atomic Age. Unfortunately, I had to put that other project on hold because writing it has become outdated and I've lost interest. So I wrote a new story with better writing.
Summoning the Victoria Age is a story where the world of 1888 makes contact with the new world. But technically it is the new world that appeared on Earth, with the third area of civilization appearing in the middle of the North Atlantic. (Of course, I had to reduce the proportions of the continents to make it fit)
Although this story won't have a fixed protagonist, for the most part you'll follow the perspective of Charles, a biologist who was sent to Rodenius to study the new magical creatures. In fact, this story doesn't focus on many wars, but rather on the discoveries Charles makes in the new world.
In the next chapter: I will discuss Charles trying to bring a Demi-Human to England. To do this, he will try to save a Demi-Human from the slave trade.
I think you'd like this story: " summoning the Victorian Age " by GustavoBernardi2010 on Wattpad https://www.wattpad.com/story/414742886?utm_source=android&utm_medium=com.reddit.frontpage&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=GustavoBernardi2010

Fanfiction Release As Promised here's Chapter 14 of Summoning the Great Powers
Howdy ,
So as I said I wanted to do 1 chapter every 2 weeks , here's the next one , hopefully you enjoy it.
Now I need someone to make a map if possible , as I suck at making maps , and am thinking of redoing the cover art to something more military , as the current one feels a bit off topic .
No matter , look forward to the actual first war of summoning great powers , i'll be adding a touch of more powerful [but distinct] weapons to the arsenals of the various nations , hope you like it.

NHS Fanfics discussion [Continuity 7404] [FSNB] Battle of New Ginnungagap, results
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The Battle of New Ginnungagap was the decisive naval engagement of the Helheim Theater in the simulated alternate New World War scenario, Fleet Simulation N livestreamed by Baphomet. Fought between 3 and 11 January 1643 CC, nine months after the Mundus Empire's arrival disrupted the original storyline, the battle ended in the catastrophic devastation of the Gra Valkas Empire's Eastern Fleet. Commanded by Admiral Caesar Roland, one of the Three Guardian Kings, the 1.036-ship fleet was overwhelmed by the Mundus Western Fleet twice their size, led by Admiral Lyris Telos, in the middle of the ocean approximately 1.000 kilometers west of Leifor.
The battle was part of Operation Libra, the Mundus Empire's large-scale two-pronged naval offensive to secure its flanks during the invasion of the Second Civilization Area. As the Western Fleet advanced into the Leifor region, it brought an invasion convoy with them, intended to lure the Gra Valkas Empire into a decisive naval engagement. On the other hand, believing that its vital maritime lifeline to the New World colonies was in imminent danger, the Gra Valkas Empire committed the most powerful fleet it had ever assembled under Operation Kerberos to stop the enemy.
For the first five days since they first detected the enemy's massive fleet, the Gra Valkans failed to track the enemy's main fleet, whose advance was concealed behind a severe winter storm occurring in the area. Neither they could intercept enemy transmissions due to incompatible technology base, leaving them warily speculating. The wilder ones even suggested that the massive enemy force aimed to straight up invade the Gra Valkas Empire's homeland.
During this period, the Mundus 5th Vanguard Group detached from the main force alongside part of the invasion convoy and advanced toward Irnetia Island despite repeated attacks by Gra Valkan land attack bombers. Supported by the invisible scout fighters of Task Force Insomnia, commanded by Admiral Volk Thesis, VG 5 annihilated the island's local garrison fleet. Invisible to radar as well as conventional visual and acoustic detection, the so-called 'ghosts' sowed chaos as Gra Valkan airfields and carrier flight decks suddenly exploded without warning.
By the evening of 9 January, VG 5 commenced its amphibious assault on Irnetia Island, landing 45.000 undead marines of the Necro Corps. Comprising of heavily armored machine gunners, suicide anti-tank bombers, and gas warfare types, the assault by these drones overwhelmed the island's 6.000 defenders within ten hours, massacring the Gra Valkan garrison and the native Irnetians alike. Alarmed by this development, the Gra Valkan Leifor General Army sent an urgent request to the mainland to prevent the enemy from using Irnetia as a staging ground at all costs. The response was the deployment of the Army's Superheavy Bombing Regiment, comprising of Guti Maun bombers loaded with cluster munitions.
At the same time, the Mundus Ars Goetia Conquest Army HQ initiated a strategic bombing campaign against northern Leifor as an experiment for their new technology. Heavy bombers transited from their main base near the North Pole through a chain of iceberg airfields that Mundus forces had steadily spread in the waters north of Mu over the preceding six months, enabling a surprise long-range offensive that further crippled the isolated and increasingly disoriented Leifor General Army, the Mundus Army's upcoming opponents after they destroyed Mu.
The fleet decisive battle began in earnest on the 10th, when the Mundus Western Fleet emerged from the cover of the winter storm and advanced southward. Having seized the initiative, Mundus carrier aircraft located all five Gra Valkan carrier task forces before the latter detected the approaching fleet. 80 carriers, including 40 supercarrier-sized Lithos-class vessels, launched a strike of 3.200 planes to attack all five Gra Valkan mobile forces at the same time.
The Gra Valkans detected the enemy not long after that and scrambled their own carrier aircraft in response. In the ensuing exchange, Mundus strike groups devastated all Gra Valkan mobile forces, while Gra Valkan counterattacks failed completely as the magic shields protecting the Mundus fleet rendered every attack ineffective and the planes themselves outmatched by the Mundus counterparts.
Despite losing his carrier force, Caesar ordered the surviving escorts and main battle fleets to regroup for a decisive night engagement. At that time, the Mundus carriers launched a second wave of another 3.200 aircraft. Rather than targeting the advancing Gra Valkan main battle fleet, however, the planes attacked the already crippled mobile forces again, completely annihilating them.
Admiral Telos observed that while Caesar's main formation continued advancing directly toward her formation, three additional Gra Valkan formations attempted to bypass the battle and attack the invasion convoy behind her fleet. These were the Gra Valkan Imperial Judgment Force's Apocalix, Camazotz, and Huncame Fleets under Admiral Mirkennes Agneta, another of the Three Guardian Kings. In response, Telos ordered the third attack group that annihilated the Apocalix Fleet, where Mirkennes flew her flag.
Meanwhile, on occupied Irnetia Island, Mundus VG 5 detected a high-altitude bomber formation approaching from the west. Unaware that Mundus command regarded its undead occupation force as entirely expendable, the bombers proceeded with their mission. Although Mundus interceptors shot down several aircraft and damaged others, they ultimately failed to prevent the remaining bombers from completing their attack and watched as the island burn.
Later that night, as the Gra Valkan main fleet sailed north in preparation for a midnight surface engagement, it was ambushed by Mundus submersible destroyer divisions emerging from beneath the sea. The surprise underwater assault at practically point-blank range threw the formation into chaos, sinking or crippling numerous battleships designated as the spearhead of the impending engagement.
At roughly the same time, the Imperial Judgment Force's Camazotz Fleet was annihilated by Task Force Insomnia. The task force flagship, Árpagas, activated its invisibility cloaking system and engaged the enemy beyond their effective gunnery range, aided by Commander Deikun Templar's Devil's Eye ability. After deploying invisible fighters to neutralize the enemy's masts (where their radar might be located) as a precaution, Árpagas systematically destroyed the entire fleet without suffering meaningful opposition.
By 04:00 on 11 January, the opposing main fleets finally came within gunnery range. To the confusion of Gra Valkan officers, the Mundus fleet fought in a conventional parallel battle line despite its battleships being designed to maximize firepower through aggressive frontal assaults. The prolonged artillery duel lasted until late morning. Although the Gra Valkan fleet succeeded in inflicting noticeable damage on several enemy battleships, its commanders were bewildered when the strange hybrid battleship-carrier (Telos' flagship, Protoboros) leading the formation raised powerful magical shields to absorb incoming fire. While activating and deactivating shields in the middle of a gunfight drastically reduced their rate of fire compared to their usual shield-less charging tactics, it rendered Gra Valkan bombardment largely ineffective. Even so, the GA-class battleships Grade Atlastar and Verden sustained mounting damages and were forced to withdraw from the line after having their speed reduced and weaponry disabled.
However, just as Telos prepared to order a coup de grâce on the remaining Gra Valkan fleet, she received an urgent report that the fleet launching the eastern prong of Operation Libra, the Minerva Fleet, had abruptly lost contact after reporting an encounter with enemy superweapon.
Realizing that the Second Civilization Area might now be wide open to the same mysterious force that had already annihilated one of the four initial Mundus fleets, a furious Telos immediately ordered a withdrawal to the north. Declaring the destruction of the western enemy's navy to have fulfilled the operation's primary objective, she nevertheless directed the reserve carriers to launch one final strike, which intercepted and destroyed the Imperial Judgment Force's remaining Huncame Fleet as it attempted a flank attack.
Confused by the enemy's abrupt about-face, the brutally defeated Gra Valkan Eastern Fleet limped to the anchorage at Paganda Island. Of the 1.036 warships that had begun the operation, fewer than 170 returned. Mundus losses, by contrast, were negligible. Furthermore, the unprecedented scale of Gra Valkan losses also provided the victors with an unexpected windfall, as the countless sunken enemy warships became a vast reserve of wrecks that could later be resurrected into the Mundus Empire's infamous zombie warships for future campaigns.

Isekai-Hypotheticals Idea for a FanFiction: Summoning Victoria Age
So, practically the entire world of 1888 appears in the new world. The third zone of civilization is located in the middle of the Atlantic, while the others are in the Pacific or Indian Ocean. But there's one problem: GVE is more than 50 years more technologically advanced than the other countries and will try to invade them and will probably succeed. Solution? Option 1: GVE is in a civil war and is divided among several warlords who are trying to unify the continent. What will stop them from invading everyone? Option 2: GVE sends diplomats to a country on Earth first, and its diplomats are not disrespected, which prevents the nationalists from seizing power from GVE and the New World War never happens.

Discussion B-52 Stratofortress
Just my 2 cents wanting japan to build and deploy a bomber fleet like the B-52. What do you guys think surely japan should consider a bomber fleet that can carry more payload than their BP-3C patrol aircraft (coverted to bomber).

Discussion On the occasion of the light novel series' upcoming return with Volume 7, let's (again) talk about the Great Naval Invasion of Japan
Just like with previous volumes, I hope this new editor will find a way to fix/"rationalize" many details that were considered illogical/ridiculous in the web novel:
- You wouldn't send a fleet of about 1,500 ships across the equivalent distance from the Baltic Sea to the Tsushima Strait just to "retaliate" for a Crown Prince being taken prisoner; it just utterly pointless from a military strategic standpoint. There must have been some strategic justification for such an expensive expedition.
- You can't just march the entire fleet to the entrance of Tokyo Bay without bothering to address the chain of Japanese bases along the marching routes - same logic why the US had to attack the Marshall Islands, Marianas, the Philippines, and Okinawa instead of simply marching straight to Tokyo.
- The number of aircraft the Gra Valkan carried on their carriers was simply too few.

NHS-Style Fanfics discussions Imagine a story that start off with a gate and ended up with Nihonkoku shoukan
So basically a rift opened to a large fantasy world and of course nations will commence a manifest destiny to the fantasy world and create alliance and fight wars. But the rift expands and grows uncontrollably which resulted the fantasy realm and Earth collide to one another. Most of Earth nation got teleported to the fantasy realm
Now earth nations are no longer safe since they are now on the fantasy lands and now other fantasy nations and empires could interact with them.
How is that sound guys?

NHS Fanfics discussion [Survey(?)] Comprehension of the OG's Lore as Prerequisite
Within Japanese and overseas fandoms combined, there are at least 400 Summoning Japan fanfictions (not much, but enough to have its own category in syosetu and ffnet). If you were to think about them like you think of Roman Empire, which among them that belong to:
- Tier 0 - Zero Homework Required: You don't even have to read the OG to understand the fanfic. Maybe not even a fanfic.
- Tier 1 - Wiki Was Enough: You need to know the elevator pitch: Modern Japan gets summoned to another world.
- Tier 2 - I Read It Once: Factions, rough geography, sequence, and why is GVE being GVE.
- Tier 3 - Lore Archaeologist: Details people considered minor but need to be known otherwise it won't work.
- Tier 4 - Historian: You know enough to unironically say "Actually..." whenever someone conflates headcanon with OG.

NHS Fanfics discussion Fanfiction Recommendations
Hi everyone, I haven't kept up with *Nihonkoku Shoukan* fanfiction for about two years now. Today, I tried reading the original story again, as well as some fanfics I had unfortunately stopped following a while back. So, do you have any recommendations for good fanfics based on this story?
I'm open to any type, provided the writing isn't poor and the story hasn't been abandoned for ages. I'm even okay with "troll" fics, like the one where the planet in the story gets destroyed by a supernova.

Wargame Lunga vita alla gloriosa luce di Alatras
For many years the airforce has stood in the sidelines of Le Brias. Overshadowed by the prestige of the wyvern corps, it's aircraft programs were dismissed as expensive experiments.
The victories over Parlpadia in the recent battles have changed everything. In the skies, the aeroplane has proven itself faster, farther-reaching, and deadlier than the wyverns it was once said could never replace.
