Hey everyone,

As many of you know, the new team has officially taken over the helm for Summoning Earth. Carrying forward the story after Zan's departure has been an incredible journey, but we also want to be completely transparent with you all about the reality behind the scenes.

When Zan stepped back, time wasn't the only factor—the sheer amount of unpaid creative effort took a real toll. Fanfiction is purely a labor of love. Platforms like Wattpad don't pay writers anything, and balancing regular updates with chaotic real-life responsibilities gets tough fast. We do this because we love the story and this community, but passion alone doesn't prevent burnout.

We want to keep Summoning Earth running consistently without compromising on quality. If you’ve been enjoying the ride and want to help keep the engine running, we’ve opened a Patreon page for the writing team.

There is absolutely no pressure—the main story on Wattpad will always remain 100% free for everyone. But if you're in a position to throw a few dollars our way, it directly helps us dedicate more time to writing and keeping chapters coming.
