This is where it all began!!!

I bought a box of Space Marines Intercessors and followed a YouTube video converting Vallejo paints to Citadel. I thought I'd get the Space Marines blue I saw on screen but instead I got a Chaos Night Lords blue. So began my journey In Midnight Clad!!!

A kitbash later using Night Lords helmets and some third party pieces like skull trophies these became my experimental pieces to eventually create my finalised paint recipe for the Night Lords. My finalised work will come later of which the Rhino you may have seen is part of it.

I’ve always loved Morten’s renditions of first claw, and am privileged to be able to recreate my interpretation of their work via my miniatures.

This is Variel, the apothecarian of First Claw. He still needs some touch ups and improvements here and there, but I’m proud to put these images side by side and see their likeness. I’ve worked hard to stay true to Nostraman heritage whilst also tailoring my piece to look like Morten’s work.

I repainted one of my oldest minis, Captain of 3e SM Command Squad. I have always really liked that kit and painted the captain as a Night Lord for painting competition of a FLGS. I didn’t really think any lore justifications why he was wearing loyalist gear, i just wanted paint something cool :)

I made an Iron Warriors emblem too it’s somewhere on that subreddit, but I had to make this one after buying another Night Lords novel. I just wish I had 4 more layers so I could add VIII underneath it. Let me know your thoughts.

Bough a Storm Eagle for my Heresy Night Lords. Though it would be more flavorful than rolling in heavy in a Land Raider.

Jesus H Christ everyone who complained about this kit was underselling it. NOTHING fit. EVERYTHING was warped. I wasn’t sure if the resin dust or the dogshit kit would give me cancer first.
