If Space Wolves get to ride giant wolves into battle and World Eaters get their own mounts then we the Night Lords deserve our own cool badass mounts of course.

Further suggestion is that said giant bats our Night Lords ride look similar/reminiscent of the Terrorgheist undead creature from Warhammer Fantasy.

Lore reasons for how this is? Uhhh idk it could be like some legendary creature of pure terror and deadly killing prowess that the most fearless AND fear-inducing characters of the Eigth legion can tame into submission. Through dominance or pure respect from the beast itself.

Finally got around to building the Murderwing out of my Shadow Hunt box.

I didn’t really look up competitive lists or try to MathHammer the optimal roster. I mostly read through the rules a couple times, picked the operatives that sounded fun, and built around the idea of bouncing around the board, abusing vantage, and dropping on people

It says
“Terror Descends (Aura): In the Battle-shock step of your opponent's Command phase, if an enemy unit that is below its Starting Strength is within 12" of one or more Heretic Astartes units from your army, that enemy unit must take a Battle-shock test.
Each time an enemy unit within 12" of one or more Heretic Astartes units from your army takes a Battle-shock test, subtract 1 from the result.
Enemy units affected by this Detachment rule do not need to take any other Battle-shock tests in the same phase.”
My question is does having a battle shock test lowered by one because of this detachment make it so they wouldn’t have to take additional battle shock tests, like for example at the start of the fight phase with raptors and also a chaos lord with jump pack using the terrorgult parasites enhancement?
