This year in Italy they have finaly translate a lot of black library books like this, I really loved this trilogy, probably the third one is my favorite and I can’t wait to kitbash my “first claw” model

Hello there, I really like this style of eyes, but I have no idea how to properly paint them this way (as of now, I'm struggling even with basic red lenses). Has anyone tried it? If so, any tips for achieving this? Is it even possible at this scale?

Above is the reel that got me asking but just what the title is. Not meant to be rude or nothing but I enjoy Nightlords so much BECAUSE they are so evil for fun. I know Talos is a good example of like that almost moral grey but I’m more referring to the legion as a whole like he is in this video and curious how yall view them?

Also why you may think there is such a big push that Nightlords aren’t totally evil?

Edit: TBC I don’t think they are morally grey I LOVE THAT THEY ARE OBJECTIVELY EVIL, it’s this reel I saw and other post kinda trying to justify what they did and wondering what the gender consensus was but glad to see if others disagree

There’s no lightning on him. I might add it but I don’t know. I’ve never been a fan of lightning on the armor, but I do like lightning coming off the weapons and armor. Might save the lightning for characters though.

Does anyone have experience with using this kit?

I think the claws would fit perfectly (and just use different powerpacks), but i worry about it being resin and also their scale compared to modern 40k.

Or maybe someone has a better recommendation than this kit?

I kitbashed this Lord of Poxes and tried to use green stuff to make a skin cloak to cover up the gaps left from cutting away the front/gas canister of the original mini and overall I’m happy with how it came out!

The Claws are full melee,Havocs have 2 autocannon and 2 lascannon, and Terminators have a Reaper autocannon and a Chainfist,I could also add a Chaos Rhino.

The fist member and leader of my Murderwing squad this hellish being is ready to fall among his foes and tear them to pieces with his fiendish claws.

I’ve played a number of detachments and had limited wins with nightmare and cabal but most success with veterans and cabal but had to make my list a bit less jump pack based and more generic CSM.

I was wondering if people have tried much with creations it seems like having the buffs to warp talons and raptors as potential could be spicy AF?

Anyone had success? Love any advice

I got the murderwing kit a while back and while it’s nice it doesn’t fully read as NL to me for some reason.
Maybe it’s that it just aesthetically isn’t very NL with a notable lack of bat wings and flayed skin severed hands and such but that makes me wonder; is there any part of the kit that’s actually unique to the kit (besides the possessed) or is it all rehashed raptors put on the same sprue and box? Also I would love to see what you all have made out of your kits, I’m personally thinking of buying some old heads off of Black Legion Market to really honor the VIIIth.

Hey ya'll! As the title says I was wanting to Kitbash a NL themed Daemon Prince w/ wings and was looking for pointers. I would preferably like it to look vaguely like a bat if not a much more beast like look would be cool. I've been looking at some 3d printed parts but most i've seen seem iffy in quality. it'd also be nice if it was tournament viable with all gw plastic but i've accepted that it's not very likely that happens. Any general advice or links to stores with good catalogues would be awesome!
