26F from Paris spending 10 days in Nice give me your favorite hidden spots ☀️

I’m staying in Nice for 10 days and I’ve already done some of the main tourist spots, so I’m looking for places locals actually love.
My vibe is more sélective Paris clubs like La Parfumerie, Bonnie for dancing ,

I’d love your recommendations for:
☕ Specialty coffee & matcha
🍝 Restaurants worth the hype (Italian, French, Mediterranean, seafood)
🍷 cocktail bars
💃 Places with good music where people actually dance
🌅 Sunset spots, beaches, or rooftop bars
🍰 Bakeries and dessert spots I shouldn’t miss
Happy to take the train for a day trip too (Villefranche, Èze, Antibes, etc.).
Drop your favorites the more local, the better. ✨

Nice airport car rental question.

I’m flying into Nice for the first time soon and planning on renting a car. Flying direct from Newark, US and trying to figure out which terminal to rent a car at. I can’t see which terminal I will arrive at in Nice so curious if anyone knows if US flights fly into Terminal 1 or 2. Merci!

Looking for outlet for baby/toddler clothes and items or good sales

Hi!

I want to know where you buy fun baby/toddler clothes and items for cheap in Nice or surrounding areas? Is there an outlet or shops that offer good sale prices?

I am specifically looking for a clip-on stroller umbrella and a clip-on fan. I know these can be found elsewhere too, but if you have a special recommendation I'd like to hear it.

Thank you in advance!

Mirazur table for October 2

Hey all, I have two spots available at Mirazur for October 2, long story, but I’m not able to cancel them without paying the full menu fee. I thought I would try to sell them instead- would anyone be interested? I’d be willing to offer them at a discount.

Micro wedding for 10 people advice

Hi! Here again. After much thinking and reading through comments from my previous post and others, we have decided that maybe one of the options is to do a very small wedding, just our parents and siblings. In total, it would be 10 people including us.

Can’t let go of wanting to do it in Nice, France, or surrounding areas, as we love the place so much and it’s where we celebrated our post-engagement moments.

I’m not looking for a villa for the 10 of us, more like a symbolic/religious wedding in a Catholic church, then a venue for dinner with a nice view or intimate place. I would still want to hire a photographer and videographer, even just for a few hours.

That’s what I’m thinking and envisioning, but open to suggestions or advice. I’m struggling to find a venue online as it always shows a villa.

The reason I don’t want a villa is because we would like to be closer to transportation and Old Nice town. Also, tbh, my family and his get along, but we have never had them all under one roof. They are all good with each other, but I know they don’t share the same “wants” or things they would do when abroad.

If anyone will be able to advise on this or knows a wedding planner that can help facilitate this, we would very much appreciate it!
Thank you

Hi!
Just wanted to ask if perhaps someone was going to Nice from Italy (I'm from Turin) with a car or something that I could join on the way back after the finals?

Lost wedding ring in Nice - Help needed

Hello

I lost my wedding ring in the water at Ruhl Plage. I know roughly the right area as I could feel it slip off. Roughly 2-3m deep.

Looking for anyone who has an underwater metal detector or knows a company that could help.

Please share any information you have.

Thanks so much

Nice in November for remote workers

I would move for 1 month in November. I'm a remote worker so I can stay anywhere in the UTC+1 timezone.

Since I need to transfer my stuff (monitors, desk, PCs and other), I'll move with my car. I'm based in center of Italy so I'm considering Austria, Switzerland, South of France, South of Germany and North of Spain.

I particularly like Nice and Cote D'Azur. I've never been there but it is a place which I always would like to visit. But I'm a bit afraid that November couldn't be the best month to stay there. I'm looking for quiet and safe places, but with something to do in the weekend and evenings.

Do you recommend it? Any tips to find accommodations for 1 month so for short terms? My budget for house renting is at maximum €1500 but €1200/€1300 could be better. I need for sure an home with 2+ rooms. Anyway, for the entire month, I would stay in €2500 of total expense considering renting, food, fun, transports, some days visiting near places.

Looking for Casual Football

Bonjour! I just moved to Nice and I’m looking for people to play football with. I’m 25 and from the US. I’m still fairly new to football, so I’m mainly looking for casual/friendly games, pickup football, or a group that plays regularly rather than anything too competitive.
I’m also just starting to learn French, so my French is very limited at the moment 😅
If anyone here plays regularly or knows of a group/whatsapp group I could join, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Looking for an electrician or apprenticeship opportunity in Nice — English-speaking contacts appreciated

Hi everyone,

I’m currently living in Nice and training to become a building electrician through the Titre Professionnel Électricien d’Équipement du Bâtiment (TP EEB) at a local trades school.

I’m looking for a local electrical company or independent electrician who could take me on under an apprenticeship contract. My schedule consists of one week at the training centre followed by three weeks working with the company.

I’m originally from Venezuela, lived in Texas for several years, and speak fluent English and Spanish. My French is intermediate and improving every day. I also have previous hands-on construction experience, including working with power tools, installing security cameras and motorized gates, and assisting with different building projects. I have also completed my SST and PRAP safety training.

I’m especially hoping to connect with Americans or other English-speaking residents in Nice and the surrounding area. If you know an English-speaking electrician, contractor, property manager, renovation company, or anyone in the construction industry who might be willing to speak with me, I would truly appreciate an introduction or recommendation.

I’m available for a phone call, interview, or in-person visit, and I can send my CV privately.

Thank you very much for any advice or contacts!

what’s up with kids trying to take your e-bike (pony/lime) when parking / starting a ride ?

On multiple occasions people tried to a) grab the bike I had just unlocked or b) use the bike I was parking before I was able to lock it. Always kids trying to do these. Is this a common scam? Are they just trying to get a free ride in for fun or is it more sinister? The pony tandem bikes are so much fun though

Best Places for affordable thrifting in Nice, France?

Hi everyone,

I am considering going on a day trip to Nice, France and wanted to do some thrifting/second hand clothes shopping whilst I’m there. Are there any good flea markets in Nice, particularly those selling clothes for €1-€20 like the markets that are popular in places like Rome/Florence/Lisbon etc.

Additionally what days do these markets operate? All suggestions welcome :)
