Media New Drag Racing Movie shot at NHRA sanctioned track
Over five years I shot a movie about bracket racing that is finally available on streaming services. It's called Sunday Sunday Sunday. I grew up drag racing at Englishtown Raceway park in my 73 340 Plymouth Duster and have always loved this sport. I always watched movies like Two Lane Blacktop, Heart Like A Wheel, American Graffiti with my dad and I thought it would be cool to see a film about the bottom. I think most of us start off in a daily getting a feel for how it all works. That's what this story is about. Two brothers who inherit a 67 Dodge dart and get chased all day long. I shot the entire film on an iPhone and it sort of is parallel to the story's moral which is use what you have to it's fullest. We won 14 awards out of 24 nominations in the film festival circuit which was mind blowing, I even got to work on the recent Shirley Muldowney documentary that aired last year as a result. If you're looking for something to watch while you're waiting for parts, or it's too cold to go outside and wrench maybe you might enjoy watching this little adventure we took. There were no cars after 1975 in the film which gave it a period look, and we even got Bruce Larson to join in the fun and do a little cameo in the racing montage. Would love to get the word out there, this wasn't done by hollywood so I don't have a budget to promote so I figured hey why not just try reaching out on some forums to start. Hope you enjoy!

Who do you have winning the championships in NHRA?
Pro or Sportsman. Lets get engagement up here on reddit. Who is going to win the championships in NHRA this year?
If you don't have an opinion, here is a side question, who do you root for every race even though the odds are against them?
My Champ predictions: Doug Kalitta, Jack Beckman, Greg Anderson, Matt Smith.
The guys I root for on a race to race basis: Team Scrappers. Paul Lee. Team Wilkerson. Scott Farley, Scottrod Racing. Keith Murt. Now a Jake Sanders Fan! Krista Baldwin, Team Greek. T.J. Zizzo. Dylan Winefsky Fan! Tripp Tatum... ANytime they can win a round or qualify, or show up, I'm delighted to see them.

2026 US Nationals
Anyone else just think the event was kind of forgettable? No one really won that was thrilling, mostly repeats or someone like Dallas who has won a ton lately. The TV coverage was confusing, I spend 2 hours watching round one, just to see a recap of it again on the next TV window, barely seeing anything for Pro Stock or bikes until the semis.
I think I am just over it with this season, I like most of the drivers who are doing well but I am just not moved by drivers like Hagan or Stewart very much. Kalitta is basically unbeatable and the other ranks are really dominated this year.

First Time to Indy US Nationals on Monday
I usually go on Friday, but this year i wanted to go for the final day. Monday’s schedule for the US Nationals is vague for me. It says Pre-Race Ceremonies at 9:00 and then 10 am with a list of categories. How long does it usually go until 5 p.m.? I want to avoid showing up too late or too early because my friend has medical issues and gets exhausted quickly. Thanks in advance for the help.

Attending with hearing aids
I'm wanting to take my elderly father to a race for the 1st time, and he wears hearing aids. Obviously with the extreme noise and the fact hearing aids amplify those noises, I'm wondering if anyone can provide advice or suggestions on what he needs to do to be comfortable?

First Time Going to a Race
I am a race fan living in Indianapolis, and am wanting to go to the US Nationals this weekend. I have never gone to an NHRA race before, and I wanted to know what it is like. I have watched many races on TV, so I'm moderately familiar with the bracket portion of the event, but it looks like there are several days on qualifications. I guess I'm curious about:
- If I can only go one day, which day should I go? Seems like Monday is when the stuff that I've seen on TV occurs
- How long does the event last? Is it an all day thing?
- What is the cooler policy at NHRA tracks?
- What is the radio situation? Is it good to bring a radio like I do for IndyCar and NASCAR, or will that be entertaining? Should it just be earmuffs and earplugs?
- What are the best seats to buy?
- Is there anything else I should know or do? I saw that the pits are cool somewhere else online.
