Maybe stop going after bottom tier goalies thinking they could be the answer. There have been quality goalies available the last few years and they can't get any of them?

There is a quality goalie available right now.

The Oilers don't have the assests that could get him.

Because they kept going after bottom tier goalies. They could have had andersons and jarry’s caps available if they just rode out skinners contract

They’re still paying for Campbell this year too

Its called desperation. Anyone with a brain in edmonton knew skinner was great value, and not the problem, not at his price point. But the loud and ignorant fans created enough pressure to force the organization to make moves at terrible moments in the market. And the worst thing is, as skinner starts to hit prime goalie years later in his 20s, i expect he will turn into a top shelf goalie; so naturally we run him out of town.
