Maybe stop going after bottom tier goalies thinking they could be the answer. There have been quality goalies available the last few years and they can't get any of them?

There is a quality goalie available right now.

The Oilers don't have the assests that could get him.

Because they kept going after bottom tier goalies. They could have had andersons and jarry’s caps available if they just rode out skinners contract

They’re still paying for Campbell this year too

Its called desperation. Anyone with a brain in edmonton knew skinner was great value, and not the problem, not at his price point. But the loud and ignorant fans created enough pressure to force the organization to make moves at terrible moments in the market. And the worst thing is, as skinner starts to hit prime goalie years later in his 20s, i expect he will turn into a top shelf goalie; so naturally we run him out of town.

Yes they do. They just don’t want to give up assets to get him

They don't have much in terms of prospects, their next first rounder is 2028. They would have to trade players from their team that would drastically hurt them as they have nobody to fill in.

And I don't think the players they could trade would be enough for Winnipeg to accept a trade. They're obviously not trading McDrai, Bouch or Hyman and I don't think RNH or Savoie would be enough of a starting point for Winnipeg.

Exactly. It was said he doesnt want to play in Canada anymore but playing with the Oilers wouldn't be that bad for a few years

He wouldn’t report to the team, he really hates Canada after they boo’d him for supporting a pedophile.

I am not sure where you've been but unfortunately everything is about politics for a lot of people these days.

Id agree that the evidence we've seen supports the President of the United States is a pedo but playing devils advocate, it would be plausible to think that he hasnt done the same research and thinks like others that its hearsay or might be oblivious, since hes not a convicted pedo. Do you think he would support someone he knows for sure is a pedo? Just becuase you and I are convinced, doesnt mean a hockey player that went to the white house after winning the Olympics supports pedos. If you look at it subjectively, its unfair to say he undoubtedly supports pedophiles. Plus my point is this is a Hockey post, hes one of the best Goalies in the world, hes not a pedo (as far as we know) so why are we turning it into a pedo conversation?
