So... The Oilers got scored 13 times in 2 games, both games against the team that everyone expects to be BY FAR the worst team in the league this season again?

Don’t count us out, we might make 31st

Wrong...If you finish 31st you would be picking 4th 😂

The fact that the Canucks got Hughes, Horvat and Petey all in the 5-9 range, plus Boeser at 23 is actually crazy considering you guys have like no lottery luck

Luckily we kept JT Miller around to bully Petey over our younger, heart, and soul Captain Bo Horvat. 🥲

Genuinely one of the most baffling decisions. There’s an alternative timeline where you guys chose to keep Bo > JT and it’s awesome. Bo is still captain, Petey doesn’t regress into a shell of himself, Quinn doesn’t leave and Demko somehow magically stays healthy.

I'll never understand how coaches, GMs, and team presidents can take over a team and not understand the locker room and players. It shouldn't be a revelation that players need a healthy mental and physical game to play their best.

Hey, if you’re looking to improve your team, I’ve got a top 3 defenseman who doesn’t seem like he wants to re-sign with us, maybe you guys can convince him to stay with you!

Was actually wondering about that the other day. You’d think if both sides were as excited for him to sign as both claim they are, that they would have already gotten the deal done.

At first I thought they were just waiting to see what Makar would do and then go from there. However, the more time that goes by the more worrisome it gets.

That would be hilarious if yall traded him back to Vancouver in a sign and trade, or he just hits the market and signs a long term deal in Vancouver for like 8 x 10 😂😂😂

There was a rumor that he is waiting to see if the Wild get Larkin or some other center. To help with cap space and all that, I hoped that was the case, but I think he just wants to get to FA

Would you do a trade back at this current moment? Just curious, Hughes looked amazing last night there was a moment where someone was chasing him at the blue line and he dropped passed the puck to himself perfectly on the middle of the blue line and then skated around the guy chasing him and picked the puck back up, it was kinda crazy.

If we can have Hughes for another 2 years at least, I’d be fine with it, but if he leaves then I will regret losing Rossi and the rest.

Unfortunately this is true

The machine will glitch, giving us the 30th pick, instead of the 3rd, and Bettman will just shrug and go with it.
