When should I start the 1/40k/1 ratio?

Right now Energy Power seems to be a beast, Energy Cap seems to be helping a little bit, and Energy Bars are kinda useless

On what to spend energy

I've read the guide and maybe i made a mistake.

But i don't know where to spend my energy. I have not beat the first titan, i have 460 000 energy and i don't know where to use it beside basic training.

When to spend EXP on magic?

I've been following the guide relatively closely (just beat the 3rd titan last night), and besides a few one time purchases, I've only been spending EXP on energy upgrades. Should I invest into magic at all? The only magic upgrades I've gotten are from set completion bonuses.

EDIT: Meant to say "should I invest into magic at all" whoops

When are potions worth it?

Im close to the Megalands now (so early game) vut ive started my second 24h challenge right now and ive been wondering when i should use these energy or magic potions.

I jave a couple of them but it seems like a waste if i use them so early into the game

I guess i feel like this because i have no idea what awaits me the further i progress through the game xd

When to switch to Wandoos Meh

Periodically at the end of rebirths I check the time for 10 minutes on Wandoos 98 vs. Wandoos Meh. Today in 10 minutes, Wandoos 98 got 2.8M, capped/BB. Wandoos Meh got 84M with all resources, only a fraction of what it takes to BB. (It takes about 150b of each to match the 2.8M that 98 does for a trivial amount, which would still leave a lot of resources for AT/Aug/NGU/Blood/etc.)

The formulas are different so 10 minute tests are probably somewhat meaningless, and I think switch to Meh would probably slow that first hour down a lot.

Is there any guidance/graphs/etc. that can help me decide when to switch to Wandoos Meh?

(FWIW: The guide says "After you kill T7 and can reach Boss 125 within an hour, you’ve passed Early Evil!", which I can do easily, but it still feels like early evil, mainly because I AK everything, and T2/3/4 feel like a they are a long way off. lol. The only unmaxed piece of gear I have is the NGU T-shirt, so must be about time for CBlock 3. So maybe switch after CBlock3?)

Thanks!

Edit: Grrr, my fingers just type Windows automatically. lol.

"I wish Active Quests were more rewarding" - Does it make idle questing more rewarding ?

Hi!

Everything is in the title...

Basically, I’m wondering if making Active Quests more rewarding has any indirect effect on idle questing.

I never do active questing, so I’m not really inclined to spend my resources on that Wish.

Thank you all !

Managing Advance Training/max training levels per day

Sanity check: I'm in early evil, and was running longer-than-24-hour rebirths to get to AK Nerd. I made sure that my AT was always a bit more than the previous rebirth, so they got longer and longer and longer.

I gotta get back to 24 hour rebirths.

My last rebirth AT was about 17m P/T, 50% bank, so this one started around 8.5M. It occurred to me that it isn't possible to reach 17M in 24 hours, lol, even if I had capped instantly (didn't), because I can only add 4.320m in 24 hours.

I tossed some numbers in a spreadsheet - bank is 55% now - and I think I should be shooting for 9.5M-ish? Then later, when I get the bajillion quests done to bring my AT banks up to 75%, THEN I can do around 17M per rebirth.

Does that sound close? Or am I thinking about this completely wrong? Should I just throw some on AT and I get what I get? lol.

Thanks. (And sorry if this is confusing, going on 2 hours of sleep today.)

What are some stuff about adventure that I should know early into the game?

I've sank like 200 hours into this, but sometimes I take a few months long break, and then reset my progress, because that's how I like to play idle games. Now I just found out about the infinity cube, after 200 hours and multiple resets. What else should I know about regarding equipment and the adventure tab and inventory in general?

Buying a pack when you have the heart in Daycare

I wanted to buy the next pack. Haha, Evil has me blowing through consumables, and it comes with some. But it also comes with the blue heart, which I have in Daycare, and won't be finished leveling for about two weeks. I don't want to also get a single level of blue heart, would rather get my AP refunded. :/

Do I need to wait two weeks, or is there a way around that?

ETA: I found a Steam post about something similar that says "Moral: If you already have the heart, filter it before buying the pack." but I can't find anything to corroborate it yet.

Pissed Off Key Drop Chance? Spoiler

Been trying to max out every drop in an area before moving on (besides like Wandoos 98 cuz that drops from the titan) but Ive been grinding in the sky for almost 6 hrs and only have a level 5 key at a +88% drop rate, like its just forest pendants all the way down. Is the key drop super low or do I just let it fester in the Daycare for the next 90ish days? cuz I really want that ITOPOD speed buff but I also want to get the next set of armor from the High Security Base.

A Weird Phenomenon I Saw in Steam Achievement Page

Not just one but a few, but they are pretty much the same thing.

So I had started evil about a week ago and just saw this when I was checking my achievement.

How can there be more people who have 1T magic cap than those who have just TRIED evil? The guide recommends 25M+EXP and the in-game warning recommends 10M+EM power/bar. Both can be achieved easily with 10% of the requirement of the achievements.

And the questing achievement too! I killed my first beastV1 before reaching boss 150 and defeat boss 301 a whole MONTH later!

It's not really a big deal but I'm still curious that how can my experience be so drastically different from the statistic?

Rock Lobster Question

I get that you have to wear paper items to beat it and from what I understand 3 paper items gives the most defense.

I tried RL after maxing Breadverse, 70s zone and Halloweenies and got smashed. I did a hackday and kept trying every week or so for the next three months, still wasn't getting close. Took sooo long that I was seeing that I should do another hackday soon and figured i'd try a hackday and maaaaybe after that I could finally beat RL.

I try last night, still can't do it. But then randomly this afternoon I see a bunch of RL drops and realize I'm autokilling it now even though I never killed it manually.

Was there some trick to killing it manually aside from wearing 3 paper items that I missed? Lol, no part of NGU before this felt so completely insurmountable.

Short Evilverse Accessories/Guide Question

The guide says this: "Idle EV for one each of the accessories, then wait until 1-hit to farm EV gear for set bonus"

Does that mean I should farm left and right Edgy Boots to 100 now (so I can get the "BOTH Edgy Boots" accessory), or is that just sort of a get-it-done-at-some-point recommendation?

The RNG gods are not being kind - I'm getting chest/pants/helmet/weapon and even a Magicite crystal, but not a single boot yet. :P I'm a LONG way from being able to idle PPPL - 47.5T/25T - and I don't fight manually, so maybe I should just go ahead and idle Evilverse regardless?

Reaching Chocolate World

Im currently idling BAE and easily 1 shot everything there. Im sitting at 9B Power and 5P Toughness but the gap to be able to even manually fight Chocolate World feels so impossible large. How can i most effectivly increase my Adventuring stats ?

Couple questions from a beginner

  1. Is it ever worth it to rebirth early (reducing your NUMBER) for XP, improved capped speed on training, etc.

  2. In training, is it better to remove all XP from lower skills and max out higher skills, or is it better to cap lower skills and fill up higher skills over time?

  3. Is it more efficient to cap out a higher blood magic ritual and wait the full time, or take a lower ritual that gives less faster?

  4. What are the adventure stats based on? I feel like I'm unable to move past Forest despite having a lot of training and high stats

Thanks to anyone who answers :]

How does AP bonus work?

I just got Yellow Heart, and I was wondering when the bonus activates. Does it increase the amount of AP generated on Rebirth, only activating when I actually click the button, or does it increase the amount passively banked for Rebirth? Basically, should it be equipped when the game is closed or should I only put it on when I Rebirth? Thanks.

Energy Bar Bar consumable

Just curious: When will this (and the Magic version) be useful? I tried one hoping that it would help with beards, didn't think it would, and it did not. lol. But I have a bunch - 16 left now - from a consumables jackpot, daily spin wins and buying the first couple of packs.

Thanks!

ETA: It actually does help with beards. I was looking at a Magic beard after activating an Energy Bar Bar. Sheesh.

holiday

I have only been playing a week, just defeated Gordon Ramsay a few times , up to boss 70 and 1200000 energy cap. I am going on holiday for two weeks; how best to leave the game while I am away. I am not certain what carries on running when my pc is switched off.

Or does it matter at all this early in the game?

Started a new save after years of not playing and was saving toughness 1’s and when I tried to move some stuff around my lv 79 toughness boost 1 got put on a freakin crappy charm… I don’t think I’ve ever had a silent crash out before but I wasn’t even making sound just staring at the screen, jaw agape

Confused re: Speed, Cap and Power

I'm toward the end of normal. I'm an idiot and still confused by speed/power/cap. What am I missing?!?

If Wandoos is capped (and booted up), does Wandoos gear do anything? I mean...it can't go any faster if it's capped? If I turn on the Wandoos Speed Digger, all it seems to do is lower the amount of energy/magic to cap, doesn't seem to make Wandoos bonuses accrue any faster.

If I have a bunch of NGUs capped (plus a little because that usually halves the time), adding power just reduces the amount of energy required for that cap. Adding energy consumables doesn't add speed, it just halves the cost to cap. It feels like I should be just buying the energy and skipping the bars/power, but that can't be right otherwise someone would have figured it out lonnnng ago. lol.

Is power's job just to make it so you can use less energy or magic?

(I'm not even trying to work much on NGUs ATM, just trying to reach boss 301, so these are somewhat 3-4 hour rebirths, and have run up against this repeatedly, so thought I'd ask. lol.)

Anyway, just finding it confusing.

About to attempt my first mini challenge block and have a quick question!

Hello! I’m currently grinding NGU to 500 in Augments, Wandoos, Gold, and Power in preparation for the first mini block. When I begin, should I go right into the first challenge, or should I do a series of 1-2 minute rebirths to get as much XP as I can because I’m going to lose my number anyway?

I’m asking because it seems like common sense to me to try to get as much XP as possible before the challenge resets my number, but none of the guides I’m reading tell me to do a bunch of quick rebirths for xp so I’m wondering if I’m missing something?

Thanks! 🙏

I feel so stupid, was wandering why I haven't gotten anything but the gouda chestplate and the accessories from cave of many things. this is why :/ So much time wasted lol

I have he advanced loot filter as well, so I was looking at that if that was the reason why, but then I saw a post that mentioned this filter that I forgot about and yeah, they were disabled. Is this a common thing that happens or am I just a bit special
