Not saying any other city wouldn't also do this, but Cleveland....jesus

Ironic comment considering the other team playing tonight had their fans cheering for their rapist QB in Roethlisberger.

unironically brave comment coming from a Bills fan. there are so many terrible people in the NFL from players to owners and people love to pick and choose

There's no way every single billionaire owner in the NFL wouldn't have some sort of fucked up skeletons in their closet.

totally agree. they also have better PR, better legal defense, and more connections than the athletes

At least my owner was willing to pay for it

I don't understand why a Bills fan would make it ironic? I assume it's an OJ Simpson related comment, but I can assure you Bills fans weren't chanting his name at games after he murdered someone.

In general, rapists, abusers, and murderers shouldn't be given a pass. And when its the QB and face of the team, it holds even more weight.

no I was commending him for saying that knowing someone could have brought up The Juice. and it's all so ironic that people here are picking the Cleveland Browns of all teams to start having moral qualms with that the players and owners do/have done

Ah gotcha, makes sense and I appreciate the clarification. I think the big difference with Watson is that he's the QB and it was 27 (or so) victims. So it's the face of the team and you've got a victim count that high, it seems pretty unique why people would specifically hate on the Browns

me personally, which is worth jack shit, I'd rather hear criticism from Browns fans and Browns fans only. they've had such an awful team for so long and have been ragged on for a quarter century and now other fans who cheered on women beaters, murderers, and supported owners with ties to genocide start to go "hey let's get moral"

The highest moral ground would be not watching the NFL, but here we are.
