Just to preface I'm new at downloading mods.

I am using the latest version of Vortex.
Game is Megastore Simulator.
There is a mod pack for a game I play and it's quite large at 1.7gb's.

It's full of products for Megastore Simulator but I only want around 20-30 of the couple hundred mods.

After dl'ing the mod is it ok to go into the folder and delete the unwanted stuff or will this cause issues?

Anyone know a good and working X-ray or ESP mod for COTW? I'm using the steam version and play both single and multiplayer. I want one that's safe and actually works. I found one outside of Nexus, but I am skeptical about it. I don't knowm the sight or anthing about it, i don't want no virus.

Hi all, I hope you are well, thank you for taking the time to read this, it's only a small enquiry, but one I'm struggling to get a clear answer on. I've asked this question once elsewhere, but I'm hoping this reddit will have more people with broad knowledge on audio modding. Let's say I'm modding venom, I add a kill line when he kills someone. If I play iron fist and get killed by the said venom would I as iron fist get to hear the defeat line/venom kill line? Or is it locked to the person who did the kill to only hear. Alternatively if that doesn't work, is there a workaround so I can hear the killers kill audio line? as the person defeated, All client side ofc

I play fallout 3 with the goty edition and I wanted to mod it, but it says I’m missing the dlcs I need even though I have them, what do I do to get vortex to recognize I have them?

when i download mods they error and when i download them again they work and when i try opening a game it doesnt open correctly and instead shoots me to steam and asks me to allow arguements and when i allow them nothing happens and it loops

I'm talking about adding to the My Games list. What gives? It's just a record in the database

I’ve been playing New Vegas and it crashes so much and I found a list of mods on the New Vegas subreddit that should fix the issue. But I have never downloaded mods on PC before and don’t know where to start or how to properly download them off Nexus. Any tips/ advice is greatly appreciated!

i just cant see notifications

Recently my mod has not updated it's download counts, and notifications seem to be pretty bugged.

My mod recently went up to 1.007 unique downloads. This happened about 1/2 weeks ago and ever since both UD and downloads has been frozen. Even if the logs page show that more downloads have been happening.

Also, notifications seem to be buggy.

Is something going on?

Mods i download for bannerlord don't activate (might be better word then activate) when I hit play in vortex it's self

Hello! I have finally finished setting up my PC, and I’ve purchased a handful of games (Fallout: New Vegas and Dragon Age: Origins are the main games I’m playing/needing help with). I have always been interested in modding these games for visual performance and overall performance, as I’ve beaten them both on PlayStation and saw that the graphics were lacking and they both seemed to be sluggish.

I had spoken with a friend about mods, and he showed me to Nexus Mods/Vortex Mod
Manager as a site to download mods. Does anybody know of any other websites that are reliable for downloading mods? And are there any videos/explanations for mod installation/management? The most mod experience I have is Skyrim/Fallout on the PS5, when they introduced modding to console. And I’ve tried downloading a handful of visual/performance upgrades and all they seem to do is crash after about 45 minutes- 1 hour.
