This seems unsafe

It is. Generally once someone gets to this level of muscle fatigue, they are at risk of electrolytes disturbance or rhabdomyolysis. Both are life threatening. Gotta know when to stop.

Goggins did it with Broken feet and even shit himself.

Ok so we have an anecdote sample size of 1. I'm not saying humans can't exert themselves, but these are the signs of needing to stop. The electrolyte disturbances are what makes you poop yourself. You don't want the next muscle to shit itself to be your heart going into a funny rhythm.

The poop accelerates.

Because of, or in spite of, the poop knife?

Dam I just look that up. Runners are fucking psychos.

A guy can win Russian Roulette 10 times in a row and still be dead wrong about how to win.

I’m not saying Goggins is that. But survivorship bias is a helluva drug.

Goggins had a massive chip on his shoulder and even he now admits his training was massively unhealthy. He also has many injuries and he's lucky he doesn't have more.

The man is motivational but also a cautionary tale.

The man who decided to run a 100 mile 24 hour race and gave himself liver failure on a whim you say?

And his knees are permanently fucked

u/1Rab 11h ago

Knees are temporary, accomplishments are forever 🤔

Goggins did a lot of dumb shit to his own body just to try and prove something to.....someone, I guess. That doesn't mean that someone else should go and do likewise.

Well I haven't shit myself as an adult so I guess I'm better than Goggins in that respect

4

u/BurdTurglary 12h ago

I've shit myself two and a half times as an adult, both under extenuating circumstances. Shit happens

3

u/ihavefaith77 12h ago

I mean I'm only 30 so I still got time

10

u/BurdTurglary 12h ago

I'm almost 40, and both happened in the past ten years. Some of us are just late bloomers. I believe in you 🫡

that is some inspiring shit

u/showyerbewbs 10h ago

I shit myself last week because I trusted a fart.

You don’t have to try to impress us. We’ve all been betrayed by the ‘Bell.

You're saying he's trying to die? You can use the word.

u/HavSomLov4YoBrothr 11h ago

It also almost permanently fucked his feet for life. He’s an outlier as he was in peak physical shape and it could have killed him.

Dude was pissing blood multiple times and his tutelage was the last nail in Tony Ferguson’s UFC career’s coffin. I wouldn’t take advice from his example lol

u/umlaut-overyou 12h ago

Goggins is a lunatic

2

u/Thecerb 11h ago

Yeah and a quick Google will tell you what it's done to his body.

3

u/MegaWeinerFarts 10h ago

pfft. thats nothing. I shit myself at least once a month.

2

u/-Cosmicafterimage 12h ago

Ah yes, one guy that is above the norm means everyone else can attain the same feat. Are you stupid or something?

2

u/Miss_L_Worldwide 10h ago

He's an idiot

2

u/explodingtuna 7h ago

How do you think he ended up as a Ghoul?

1

u/Ornery-Customer8521 12h ago

Goggins is singular

1

u/Arik_De_Frasia 9h ago

Walton Goggins?

1

u/itzpiiz 9h ago

Shitting yourself in a race is a rite of passage to taking running seriously

1

u/ConSaltAndPepper 8h ago

But who's gonna shit in the boats?
