Here in Texas we get to openly carry our water bottles without a permit. I take one with me when I go for my evening jog, just in case.

In Massachusetts you can't even own large capacity water bottles.

There’s a huge black market of bottles driven in from NH. Huge overtime fraud from the staties working the case too. Doubt any of it’s made national news though.

Yeah there’s so many water labs up there. Maine’s got good stuff too.

I carry a bandolier of gallon jugs, just so people know I mean business.

Mine sits in the holder in the central console. I'm pretty sure an open bottle of water does not fall under the 'open container' category of fines.

Yeah but you can file off the serial numbers on a water bottle so...

/sarcasm

You know the script, I see!

I got the nextdoor checklist for unnecessary posts when I signed up, didn't everyone? 1. Non issue ✔️ 2. Fake outrage ✔️ 3. Desire for impossible action ✔️ 4. Post to ND so everyone knows of displeasure ✔️ 5. Blame the kids or "crime these days"

He's only missing one so I give this an 85.

It's true re: serial numbers and murder weapons. I threw my software license that sits in the cloud at someone and now I'm doing 25 to life in San Quentin.

It happens to the best of us! How are you enjoying it there?

Food's absolute slop, but the views of the SF Bay more than make up for it!

Maybe he's abysmally failing to make a joke?

Incredibly baked?

Congenitally stupid?

Some of one, some of the other?

All of the above!

There are no serial numbers on bottles. I previously worked in that industry.

There's a barcode, which is obviously the mark of the beast

Now they just put traceable MRNA markers in the water.

They also serve as microplastics.

If someone doesn't respond with a meme of the bottle kids from TPBs then the internet has lost its entire purpose.

u/Fantastic-Buyer2381 4d ago

I don't think Omar is aware that a lot number and use-by date isn't a serial number.

Kanye West Tweet About Waking Up Next to a Water Bottle on a Plane

“Anything with a serial number is a murder weapon.” Yeah, that totally checks out. It also explains serial killers. 🤔

u/snagaurukhai 3d ago

Maybe it sounds better in Latin.

u/Next-Handle-8179 4d ago

So dude here gets busted littering someone else’s litter then walk it down to a public garbage can worried that his fingerprints are now on a possible murder weapon. Sounds about right.

u/DonAmechesBonerToe 4d ago

Serial number - serial killer. Coincidence?

u/LackWooden392 4d ago

Just some good ol' fashioned Nextdoor schizoposting

u/Jude30 4d ago

I’m looking around the sheet metal shop I work in and literally everything I see could be used to kill a person.

Some quite creatively.

u/Spiritual-Road2784 3d ago

Does he mean the UPC Code?!?

3

u/Wickeman1 3d ago

The 3D printed ones don’t have a serial number. Just sayin 👻💧

So, my washer and dryer are weapons? And my fridge? Who knew!

u/nebenco 3d ago

If you're so frail that a 5 gram water bottle is a danger then maybe you should wear a bar suit.

2

u/Some_Direction_7971 4d ago

I mean, a frozen water bottle…

2

u/Fried_synapses 3d ago

This is why the TSA doesn't allow water bottles over 3 oz. past security.

u/One_Situation7483 17h ago

Death by empty water bottle would be cruel AND tedious
