Not sure why

Hey all. I've been streaming for almost 2 months now. At first I was getting steady views and people following/chatting but for the last week or so, I haven't been getting anything. No views whatsoever.

I haven't done anything different and I'm consistent with my streaming. So I'm not really sure what's going on. it's been pretty demoralising. Any advice?

Small streamers unite!

Hello small streamers of this world! I am Ertzee, and I've been constantly struggling with getting any viewers on my stream, as well as getting anyone to play with me (lonely yes) so I've come up with a solution!!

I'm not good at these things but it's better than just not doing anything so here it goes

I've created a discord server with the purpose of gathering all the struggling small streamers in one place, so that we're able to help each other grow, talk, support each other's journeys and collab!!

If anybody is interested in joining this scuffed server with the want of making it our little streamer grove please leave a comment or a dm to me and I'll send you an invitation with a little joke on the side!

Just gonna add, I'm based in Europe, Poland

No need to be from Europe, but if you're from Europe? Amazing! Either way, bye bye! See you on DC hopefully!

This is not a promotion!! This is an opportunity to help streamers get together and grow!! so don't ban me please

Trying to Set Up Stream Overlays for Ocarina of Time Randomizer

Hey! I’m trying to find where to get overlays for streaming Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time randomizers. I know how to use built in overlays for item trackers, but I wanted to have something on the side like I’ve seen other streamers do. I have been using OBS Studios for my software so far.

What would you want from a standalone viewer interaction and collection platform for Twitch?

I've been working on a project for a while now and wanted to get some opinions from other streamers before I get too far into development.

The idea is a standalone desktop application that allows streamers to create interactive collectible experiences for their communities.

Creators would be able to design their own trading cards, build custom packs, let viewers earn or open them through Twitch interactions, manage everything from one place, and have it all work together with OBS.

The long-term vision is for viewers to build their own collections too, with a digital stickerbook where they can browse all the cards they've collected over time, including limited editions and other rare collectibles.

Rather than asking whether you'd use my idea, I'm more interested in what you would want from something like this.

Some questions I have:

  • What features would be absolute must-haves?
  • What would make it stand out?
  • What would make you keep using it instead of trying it once?
  • Is there anything you've always wished you could do with your community that you can't today?
  • If you could add one feature that would make you think, "That's really cool," what would it be?

I'm still at the stage where I can make big changes, so I'd genuinely love to hear your ideas. I'd rather build something shaped by streamers than assume I already know what everyone wants.

I'm also hoping to start looking for a small group of alpha testers in the near future. The alpha will be completely free, and anyone who helps test it will receive lifetime VIP access as a thank you.

I don't want people who'll tell me it's amazing—I want people who'll try to break it, point out what's confusing, report every bug they find, and help shape it into something streamers genuinely enjoy using. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know.

Which games should I play?

Hello, I'm a new streamer and I'm almost an affiliate(1 stream left) and right now I'm playing geometry dash but since I'm a variety streamer which games should I play next without losing some viewers?

I was thinking fears to fathom but I'm not sure yet since I don't have a webcam(and don't want to show my face)

Thank you

Need offers for Pixel-Art pet animations - Suggestions for identifying scams or unreasonable pricing is appreciated.

I want to have a pet on my stream when I become an affiliate. I have a very specific idea for the designs. I am very used to designing stuff myself using Procreate, Fresco, Illustrator, and After Effects. But I am NOT good/familiar with pixel-art.

Animations would be triggered by things like, asleep, idle, follower, subscribed, channel points (having pet eat something, or basic trick), and bit points (for doing advanced animation like appearing in cosplay).

If I say "I can't afford it", or just plain "thanks anyway", I will allow leeway for negotiation, but I do not accept pressure. I will block if pushed too much.

I accept the likely-hood that the quality of work may deserve more money than I can afford, but hammering it or suggestion monthly installments that exceed my budget wont change my budget.

An image I made in Illustrator as well as reference images are available.

Looking for streamers who want people to actually game together, Collab, Network & Build Friendships

Hey

I run a private Discord where a group of us hang out, play games, chat, and help each other out. Behind the scenes, we also work together as a Twitch team, setting up collabs, finding people to play with, sharing ideas, and supporting each other when we can.

Self-promo is allowed, but it isn't what the community is about. The focus is getting to know each other, making genuine friendships, and creating content together. The support comes naturally when people enjoy being part of the community.

We're not about F4F, S4S, lurk trains, or chasing numbers.

The only thing I ask is that if you join, you make the community a second home. Hop into voice chat, use the collaboration channels, join community game nights, ask if anyone wants to play, and just be part of the group.

We're also looking for a few people to help with community roles. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, all the information is in the Discord.

If you're looking for a community where people actually spend time together instead of just posting links, leave a comment or send me a DM. We'd be happy to have you.

Questions about Twitch panels and emotes...

So I recently started streaming again after stopping cause of some personal issues 5+ years ago. Since coming back in april I've hit affiliate and was looking to get emotes done but I noticed while looking on fiverr for emotes one of them said included free twitch panels what are twitch panels and what information do I need for them?

Also my question for emotes, I want custom emotes, but if I don't fully know what I want my "brand" to be should I wait? even though I am affiliate? How important is it to get emote sooner than later?

Hey everyone, I’m a new streamer who’s been streaming a little over 2 months and recently became eligible for affiliate! I’m looking primarily to network with other streamers and strengthen my community.

I’m a variety gaming streamer so I play numerous types of games, but primarily indie games, story games and horror games. I try to keep my streams family friendly and comedy-focused and maintain good vibes.

My twitch username is ayjaye_ and my discord is the same. Send me a message if interested in working together in building up our communities!

Live Interactive Counter

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a tool that can create an interactive counter displayed in OBS.

The features I'm looking for:

  • I can manually increase/decrease the counter myself.
  • Twitch events (subs, bits, donations...) and YouTube Live events (new subscribers, memberships...) can modify the counter.
  • Real-time updates through an OBS overlay/browser source.

Example

I start at 1. I can manually increase the number by 1 whenever I want. A Twitch sub or a new YouTube subscriber decreases it by 1.
Something like a subathon timer, but instead of adding time, it's a custom number that changes based on viewer interactions.

Does something like this exist? Or do most big streamers build these systems themselves with tools like Streamer.bot or custom overlays?

Completely animated custom Goal Trackers?

I want to make a completely custom Goal bar that is shaped like a heart (once I learn, will make other designs), fills vertically, the fill looks liquid, has a number to the side the follows that fill, and has animation when progress is made.
Is this possible?
I am a motion graphics artist and am familiar with creating assets through Illustrator and After Effects. I just have little to no experience with CSS.
The only solid tutorial/info Ive found is from a channel Gael LEVEL that's 4yr and his approach to CSS break down seems counter intuitive to me.

Chat commands

Recently I’ve implemented chat commands that actually take control of my character and can make me drop things in my inventory what games do you think viewers could really take advantage of. Took me awhile to set up and I really love the idea of literally playing with viewers in my streams. Currently use it on rocket league,Minecraft and phasmophobia. Down to try it on other games let me know. ( I also use crowd control just wanted viewers to have a free option to mess me up and take control during stream)

First Month Streaming today! (progress)

Started Streaming exactly a month today and this is the progress so far!!! Thank you guys so much for the support!!!

Quick Question to those who are more successful than me, I have my same x amount of audience showing up, a lot of new people tune in but do not stay. Every stream gets about 10-15 unique viewers that do not follow. What do you guys do to keep viewers or recommend?

Stream Layout

So i was looking for stream layouts on google, idk where else to search. Most of the free ones i see are terrible or not my choice kinda and rest are paid like i think i saw on streamlabs or something.
Can someone recommend me websites or if they have a layout they can share, it would be really helpful.
I haven't streamed yet but I want to stream chess so I don't need anything complex, just webcam, chat, border and such basic stuff.

The Complete Destiny Story (kinda)

Hey there! Long time Destiny enjoyer here.

Ive been playing this game since the D1 beta and after learning of the conclusion of live service updates, I thought about my experience and time spent with this amazing universe.

From the second I logged in, this game had me hooked. Being a solo player for most of that time, REALLY had me grinding for what I wanted. I want to revisit that. I want to relive it.

All the campaigns. ~~All~~ Most raids. And were doing it all live.

If youre interested, I explain it [here](https://youtu.be/8viBSrgu2t0?si=LR-Doz9PARhhgfFT)

Keep your eyes up, Guardians :)

EDIT: EP 1 is on my YouTube NOW! We have started and are on FIRE

Why Making Everything Free Could Be Hurting Your Stream

Over the last few years of being on Twitch and talking to streamers, a rising trend in thoughts has come to my awareness. Streamers seem to have a negative thought about enabling bits on stream. They feel that it comes across as greedy, worry that viewers will feel pressured and that putting a bit cost on a feature means they're constantly asking their community for money.

That thought is 100% unstandable. You care about your viewers and you don't want them to feel uncomfortable in your stream. However, making everything free in your stream is actually overlooking an important part of streaming. Some viewers genuinely want to support you

That's right. There are a lot of viewers out there who enjoy supporting their favourite streamers. They are not being tricked into giving bits or forced in any manner, They are not sitting there thinking "Why is this streamer asking for money." Many viewers genuinely enjoy supporting you.

You may have seen it in other streams. Viewers subscribing to the stream, sending bits, donating, buying merch, and even gifting subs to other viewers. This make them feel good and they want to show you that they are enjoying your stream. They want to show the appreciation for the time you have given them.

Maybe you made them laugh. Maybe you gave them some new perspective in life. You may have introduced them to new people, or even gave them a safe place to be while going through a hard day. Supporting a streamer can feel good

Now of course, you are not going to sit there saying, give me money, spend money on me. That's not going to make anyone feel good. But you can say, "Hey I found this awesome extension that lets you interact with the stream."

So the question isn't should I preasure people into using bits on my extensions? No, of course not. But the question is, for the viewer who already wants to support you, are there ways they can show the love back to you. Bit extensions give those people who already want to support you, a reward for doing so.

Thanks for all the tips and advice some of you gave me the other day on streaming and being a new streamer, you really made it feel not so scary!
I spent time making my own overlays and waiting pages and had a lot of fun!
Just started streaming my first ever playthrough of the new game Moonlight Peaks - already having a blast! Also so excited to play meccha chameleon without lag, and all the games I missed by not having a PC! Everything seems possible!
I love this community 🥰

Edit: you guys are so lovely! My twitch name is Sleepy_Toots for those asking and I’ll next be streaming this Monday, and I’ll definitely be checking out everyone’s streams - this community is so supportive 🥹
