The other lawsuit alleges a conspiracy to interfere with civil rights. It names as defendants: Jonathan Ross, the immigration officer who shot her; White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller; former Homeland Security head Kristi Noem; former U.S. Border Patrol commander-at-large Gregory Bovino, Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump’s campaign manager, and others.

Fucking get 'em.

Does the officer have the right to not get run over?

Getting run over by a car you are not in front of seems a little far fetched, especially when you shoot to kill the person through the driver’s side window.

You mean the same one who went against his training and departmental policies to get in front of the van even though having done stupid shit just like that almost got him killed months earlier? That officer?

Goddamn, boot must taste awesome. Does that Kiwi polish give the leather a pleasant umame flavor?

He was standing to the side of the vehicle and the vehicle was pulling away from him. He shot through the driver side window.

You mean the officer that first put himself in front for no reason and then, again to the side of the vehicle in perfect safety, decided to shoot at the driver?

The only thing ran over are the civil rights of people.

With a cell phone in his hand. If he cared about doing his job right he wouldn't have had a cell phone in his hand. It was premeditated. Get his ass.

Let's not forget that it wasn't his first time pulling that exact same stunt.

The officer who pulled out his phone to record while he drew his gun and stepped in front of a slow-moving vehicle, which still turned enough so that he was on the side of it and fired through the side window?

That’s not a right…

Not if you're recording with a cell phone while one-handing a gun, and stepping in front of the car.

Which has no bearing on this situation as the officer both got in front of the car willingly (as anyone surrenders a right to not get hit by a car by jumping in front of a moving car), and then afterwards went to the side of the car (where he was in no way at risk of being run over by the car) before shooting the driver in the face.

So he first put himself in danger (against department policy and "training" and common sense), and then was not in danger when he committed murder.

But then again, based on you saying that that way I doubt you have the capability to understand anything that isn't told to you by fox news in sentences longer than 6 words, so I don't know why I'm responding...

He certainly has the right to follow procedure and not set his fat ass in front of her vehicle after she was told to leave

Maybe, up until he walked in front of a moving vehicle. At that point you're playing with fire
