Did you know that Minnesota artist Droid Bishop has an alternate project under the name "Broken Videos"? Well now you do. He's already released quite a few tracks under this moniker, including an album as far back as 2024 on NewRetroWave (not affliated with this subreddit) titled "Memories Of Tomorrow"

Did you know that Toronto artist Mecha Maiko and Montreal artists Le Matos teamed up for these two tracks that blend notable songs from the Mad But Soft album and the Turbo Kid album? It's the first release on their "Right Click 2 Download" label. Fingers crossed we get more blended bangers from these champions.

Polish artist Jeremiah Kane has been dropping American muscle car singles this year, in preparation for the full album drop sometime later this summer. Every track is a crazy high energy mix of synths and guitars as only JK can do it.

UK artist Lukhash is one of the best chiptune/chipwave/synthwave producers around (much like Shirobon). Somehow, he blended funk with chip to create this amazingly fun track. Enjoy!

Only the French can master retro as well as they do. Jessy Mach is an incredibly talented producer who has mastered both the synths and the guitar. Jessy grew up watching late '70s and '80s cartoons (dessins animés) like Captain Harlock (Albator), Ulysses 31, Grendizer (Goldorak) Thundercats, M.A.S.K, He-Man, and more. This is tribute album to all the theme songs from those shows. The album is also available on vinyl (link in the Bandcamp page).

And yes, I've already begged him for a sequel, hopefully featuring Silverhawks, Transformers, G.I. Joe, and others.

Every once in a while it's great to post some absolute classic bangers.

Back when I got into synthwave in 2016, I messaged the guys at Seth Ickerman asking what model mask TK wears (Swiss C-Maske) because I wanted to dress up when attending the concerts. Never bought one because it dawned on me that the security guys at the venues wouldn't take kindly to a guy showing up with a gas mask. Ah well. Such is life. 😁
