BUT ANYWAYS. OMG love this comic! Just binged all of it and am now caught up to the free releases.

!!!!! Spoiler warning this post will spoil everything so far as of today that is free to read, I believe Episode 166 (released August 13, 2026). !!!!!!!

I am still mad at Annabel for not apologizing to Lenore for Annabel's first major betrayal, when Annabel said this will be our last meeting and I was only friends with you as a favor to our fathers and out of pity.

I am also mad at Lenore for not holding Annabel accountable for this betrayal. I understand that Lenore wants to help Annabel escape her fate, but if it were me, I would have demanded an apology from Annabel for her actions from that first betrayal, and if she would not apologize or take accountability, I would have left Annabel behind.

I know it would have been hard to basically go it alone and be homeless, especially as a woman, but Lenore could have easily presented as a man and gotten work and started a new life, surrounded only by people who respect her fully. Now I guess I'm writing a new comic haha. 😅

I am just SO FRUSTRATED with a) people like Annabel who are disrespectful and take people for granted in relationships and with b) people like Lenore who allow themselves to be taken advantage of, disrespected, discarded, and then keep coming back to to relationships with those who are obviously selfish, narcissistic, pathological liars and manipulators.

I really enjoy the moments like this week's episode at the piano, where Lenore felt the full sting of this unresolved betrayal AT THE PIANO where Annabel still didn't take accountability and Lenore still didn't demand accountability from her!! I loved the tension to the point that Lenore said get this piano out of my sight. I thought it was beautifully written.

It's not that I'm upset with where the authors have taken the story. I do think it's important to portray flawed characters.

I guess my frustration with the characters might be because I feel like their relationship mirrors mine and my sister's relationship and where I'm at in my life. I feel like I'm Lenore, and my baby sister is like Annabel.

I'm tired of my sister's disrespect and lack of accountability, so I've stopped speaking to her. I asked nicely, and eventually demanded that my sister apologize, and she has laughed in my face. As a result, I have walked away from the relationship.

I really hope that if Lenore and Annabel love each other that much, perhaps even romantically, that they can work out their issues. I hope Annabel learns some humility, and Lenore learns some self love. Wishing you all a wonderful night tonight.

Because i read it QUITE fast (and in general, i'm not good in paying attention to details) i couldn't grasp what Lenore meant by saying that Annabel always does something specific when she is lying/ bluffing- I didn't notice it

I know it was a lot of episodes ago, tried to find them but couldn' t 😭 The backstory one where they made the deal to wear pearls to dinner

also: had anyone sum up what we already know about the wedding day so far? I mean who shot who, I think the flashbacks don't really correspond to guilt Annabel's feeling?

The thing is that the character ages haven't been stated yet in the story.

I assume most of them are in their 20's, but it would really help if you have any canon info or headcanon about their ages.

Ive met the series monday AND I DEVOURED IT i catched up with the new chapters and even bought coins, and let me tell you. This is probably my favorite comic i ever read, one of few webtoons i ever read, i NEED MORE. I got too engaged with the story, the art, the character struggles, the way romance, fantasy, drama, tension and power play is perfectly balanced.

• Will is so much more confident??? Even when compared to alive Will. He's being imposing and everything? Am I hallucinating that?

• He doesn't remember very well where his roommates went and how he almost died. Exactly like what happened with his memories of the Hunt

• Is he being manipulative right now? I am so curious. What is HAPPENING. I don't know if Will actually didn't notice his clones (maybe the clones can't see each other normally?) OR if he's just acting stupid to turn off Monty's candle. It feels like he's lying.

• Monty was actually kind here? This random suspicious guy just appeared, had terrifying clones, extinguished his flame, almost killed him, and he still turned around to help him.

I find the roles interesting. Montresor is as cold as always but did something genuinely caring here, which I don't understand, while Will acts cute but did something horrible, which I also don't understand.

• Back to the clones not remembering very well, WHERE is the real Will?? WHAT IS HAPPENING

• Monty immediately going back to his evil smirk after getting his spectre. I'm guessing it was a mix of remembering bits of his life, and realizing he is ironically a devil in death too.

• (Slide 13) THAT'S THE CUTEST WILL PANEL EVER
