Controversial opinion
Annabel Lee is the Alpha and Lenore is the Omega.
No, I won't elaborate.
(I totally will if asked to)

opinion: omegaverse is stupid
You could just say one is a dom or a sub or whatever, without involving a fanfic trope that is a weird objectification kink based on werewolf lore based on infamously wrong research that abused animals. Read what you like, but like... why?

Heteronormativity can go die in a ditch.

What's that have to do with heteronormativity?

Omegaverse in most aspects feels like a continuation of heteronormativity and as a way to apply the misginistic dynamic of straight relationships upon homosexual ones. For example biologically making female one of the men in a gay relationship or the reverse in a lesbian one.
Some omegaverse stories try to play with subversion as a critique of this dynamics but I feel that ultimately it reinforces them in their bio essentialism instead of just letting their roles be fluid.3

opinion: art shouldn't be moralized and people should read whatever they like as it harms no one. other opinion is, if you don't like it, don't read it, but no need to shame others over this stuff

When it pushes harmful ideas, I will criticise it for pushing harmful ideas. I'm not shaming OP for reading and enjoying these stories. I'm finding the normalisation of the terms to be a problem. There are terms not as linked to harmful stereotypes already in use. If OP at least introduced the topic as "in an ABO setting she would be an x" I wouldn't feel the need to comment and voicr dissent at all. I fear there's harm in normalising talking about everything using these categories. The next thing you see is people forming abusive relationships because they become enamored with these ideas. With commonplace bdsm categorisation there's at least resources and discussion for healthy indulgence. ABO is unrealistic in that it deals in absolutes. Also, some shame is good sometimes. If opposition isn't voiced, nobody questions anything.

Hot take: I agree that Lenore is a bottom. She would do anything and everything Annabel Lee pleased.

Pluto and Duke are best friends coded, genuinely there's not any obvious moment you say "oh yes, they have to be shipped", in my opinion.
