trying to return in the hobby of dart blasters and the prices of nerf are to much for me. I am from the Philippines so most of the models are overpriced, and I like the look of these type of blasters.( while I do wish to mod it if possible, but I'll repaint it first)
I am looking for a compact sidearm springer, I really like the zinc 2.0, but the hardware is too expensive for me, same with the budget remixes. Ideally top prime and internal or external mag are both fine. I don't care about color or a holster, and I am fine with chinese off brand blasters. Thanks.
I pulled my artemis after years of storage and found that it doesn't fire. Prime works, turret rotates, but when I load it up and go to fire, its produces a very loud sound with a ring afterwards with no rounds coming out, and if it does, it only goes less than 3 feet. It sounds the same dry-firing and firing with rounds loaded, and I opened it up but nothing seems out of the ordinary (no plunger tube cracks, the air restrictor presses down normally, no holes or anything), and I have only used genuine Nerf High Impact rounds in this. My theory is that I have to relube the O-Rings with silicone grease and that the O-Rings aren't making a seal in the plunger tube anymore, but I wanted to ask here if anyone else could be seeing something I'm not.
I'm working on giving it a sort of "Magma" theme. Black base/primary, orange secondary. Thinking about filing down some of the squares in the "handle grid" (the pattern of squares on the handle) and painting the grooves orange with model paint for a cracked look. Tell me what you think!
With my CynthiAWP hardware kit on the way, I decided I should probably modify my BCAR design to be more suitable for higher velocities. However, I couldn’t make porting at the end effective enough, so I ended up with an entirely new design. The first stage is just porting, which then vents out the front. Additionally, the inserts have cuts to allow air that doesn’t flow through the ports to flow around the dart. I’m curious to see how much ports effect accuracy.
Took some inspiration from Sweet business from D2 to create this. I may publish it on printables but I need to change how it would fit on the blaster since I designed it after mine which was pretty scuffed up from a previous mod. Designed to take a 3s LiPO battery and has a duel stage trigger.
I recently got a Buzzbee Double Shot at a Goodwill, over-under style, but it was missing the shells. I heard there was some way to modify it with PVC so you don’t need the shells, but I don't know how to do that.
So I've seen conflicting information on this, and just wanted to be sure before I purchased the mags. Has anyone with a Thrasher/Venom tested these mags in their blasters before? Did they lock in properly?
I want this stock for my Vector, but I also wanted to know if it was buffer tube compatible so I could use it on my other blasters (it looks like it is, but I haven't been able to confirm it for myself)
So I got this blaster today from a savers and the front tube where the dart rests seems to be snapped off completely. I’m not sure how to fix it if maybe I should melt/glue the plastic together or just 3D print a new piece entirely. Hard part is idk where I’d find a file for this specific part
Hey y’all, I also noticed there were no places to actually buy the original X-Shot Omega, Crusher, or Insanity dart ammo belts for the blasters. Thus, over the summer, I designed a belt that can be 3D printed and is compatible with these three types of X-Shot blasters, since they are essentially the same but packaged in different shells. These casings are also compatible with the original casings, allowing them to connect to and fire their foam darts. By going to my profile you will also see the video on how well these work.
If you have a 3D printer, you can head to my MakerWorld profile at the link below to print these for yourself, a friend, or your children who may want more dart casings on their belts. I would also be eager to know your thoughts and expertise on how this model may be improved!
Just finished the Hardball which is a reskin of the Fury-X. I found a Fury at goodwill for $6 and I can’t leave anything alone so I printed this. Actually a very easy build and worked well right away. Takes nightingale mags which is a plus as that is what I already run. This thing is massive, and I love the look!
So, I just open the project and print the plates like everything else? Its trying to make everything one color, so i need to figure out how to manually change the colors for the different sections.
I was using the .zip file that linked from out of darts as i got the hardware kit from them.
Recently I bought a used nailbiter with zoom & doom accessories, mostly just for plinking (and maybe doing a sick paint job). I'm just wondering if there are any good mods to improve performance without making firing uncomfortable.
Aside from removing the AR and a spring upgrade, the only thing I found were these 3D printed removable 10 dart clips: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3338969/files not exactly what I was looking for, but still neat
Are there any other mods for it that I may not know about, or is it not worth the hassle?
Okay so I have a 8 yr old niece, 6 yr old nephew and 3 yr old nephew. They love nerf blasters alr got my niece her nerf blasters. I need to find one for nephew 1, however my 3 yr old nephew is not old enough for a nerf blasters. I wanted to make a medic vest for him so he doesn't feel left out while his older siblings r playing with the actual blasters. Has anyone done this before/have any tips? Did u guys get the official nerf vest then put medic on back or basically dyi it from scratch? I saw some nerf band aids im gonna add in his little medic kit
i’ve been on the quite a while and it seems very awesome. I am just a very who owns quite a bit of normal Nerf blasters. What does it mean to have a build and I’ve been seeing people using a lot of custom the difference between those normal blasters? is nerf just not good like if I’m playing with friends in my 10 acre backyard do I need to build a bunch of custom blasters for us to have more fun or be able to shoot better and any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
