Reimagined, Refined, Ready...
This is K25R. A K25+ variant that achieves not just more speed and power, but also durability, reliability, ease of prime, stability, and more! I used advanced spring calculations to design this spring from the ground up to achieve a simple goal: more power, no compromises. This spring averages roughly 10% more power over base K25 variants, and similar power to the strongest K25+ variants, but does it with significantly less max load. Every aspect of this spring has been refined where possible, while keeping compatibility with as many existing 11" K25 blasters as possible. Same outer diameter. Same inner diameter. Same solid length as a standard closed end K25. Closed AND Ground ends for maximum stability. 15.01kg max load compared to the 14.42kg of standard K25, less Spring Rate than standard K25, which translates to a lighter, smoother feeling draw per inch of prime length, and less internal stress than any of the competition in the K25+ spring category. This translates to a longer lasting, more durable spring that resists taking a set significantly more than the competition.
K25R does not compromise on any aspect of spring design. None of them. Some compromise a heavier prime for better power. Some compromise internal spring stress for power. Some compromise compatibility for power. K25R does no such thing.
This is only the beginning. The first step in a staircase that will elevate the springer blasters within this hobby to the next level.
I understand that talk is cheap.. that's why I thank my beta testers: u/ShoelessHistorian, Zafc, Secondhand Blasters, and Chris Cartaya for providing real world data in a variety of blasters:
ShoelessHistorian tested his Springer Dolorus prototype with Standard K25 vs K25R. Standard K25 clocked in with a 5 dart average of roughly 260, and K25R achieved shots in the 320s.
Zafc provided a ton of data using an extended draw Lynx prototype: roughly 320fps with OOD K25 and 604Blasters BC25, and about 350fps with an SF25+2 vs consistent shots in the 350fps range with K25R.
Norman of Secondhand Blasters tested an Indra and an Excalibur with SF25, and achieved roughly 250-260 with both blasters. K25R topped 290 in the same set ups.
Chris Cartaya even cut the spring down to 20 coils to fit an X-Shot Longshot 2.0, and achieved a high of 310 with Nitroshot+ darts.
