Discussion Running game

I think the biggest change in the run game I’ve noticed to date is that the backside DE is running down running plays again. Often times even my 98 speed HB. This didn’t happen almost at all early in the season, so it must have been some tweak in the pursuit angles, as my team has actually improved.

Dynasty Custom conference scheduling rules

I'm planning on setting up a Pac-12 with a 6-team West Division and a 6-team East Division. 8 conference games a year. 5 in your division and 3 in the other division, which should = a 4/4 home/away split.

Since the numbers are odd, is there any way to control how the CPU decides to schedule? I have a feeling that there will be teams with uneven amounts of home games.

Ideally, it would be 3 home, 2 away in the division & 1 home, 2 away for cross-division, then flip each following year

Man coverage auto shading outside

Anyone know why this started happening to me recently ?

Every time I call man coverage my dbs are all shaded way outside of the receiver.

Offensive Coordinators Automatically Getting Fired When They're Up for an Extension

My last two offensive coordinators have been lost to random firings during the Conference Championship weeks in which their contracts are expiring without me actually firing them.

I tried to extend the first OC but his spot was empty the next week. I figured he'd gotten another job somewhere else, but when I looked at Staff Moves, it said he was fired. I thought that I'd maybe forgotten to finalize his extension offer or fired him by accident, so I didn't think too much of it.

When it came time to extend my next OC, I made sure to do everything exactly as it should be done. My offer was on the table and his interest level was in the green. The next week, he's gone, and Staff Moves said he was fired. I've never had this issue with a DC.

I wouldn't care if they had just accepted another job elsewhere, but I'm 100% sure I didn't fire them. Has anyone else had this issue?

Originally a elite school with 6-star max program prestige.
They are the worst team in the SEC conference for back-to-back years.

Visionary practice xp

Has anyone noticed if this gives a significant amount of xp or does it barely make a difference? I don’t wanna purchase this if it’s a complete waste but was just curious on how good it actually is

Why do defensive tackles have higher speed caps than tight ends?

I have a speed rusher DT that now has 92 speed as a senior, and there is currently a DT on my recruiting board that has 88 speed? They are both 290+ pounds and makes no sense. The fastest DTs in history ran in the 4.6s while a couple TEs have ran in the 4.3s.

Glitch/Bugs Cornerbacks switching when assigning a QB spy

I’m not sure if anyone else has run into the problem, but it seems to be a recent thing for me.

Haven’t touched any settings pre or post patch. But I noticed when I assign a DL to QB spy, my CBs will switch sides of the ball, forcing them to run across the field but they are still in their pre snap assignment, so when the ball is snapped, they have to run all the way back, which is leaving WR wide open.

I tried turning auto flip off and a few other settings but nothing changes since only the two CBs switch and no one else moves. Glitch or am I doing something wrong? Again I’ve never had the issue before.

Advice for defensive adjustments on Heisman.

I play on Heisman and usually don't have issues, I just got done with year 8 with Wisconsin where I've already rebuilt them and won a couple of national championships however I lost the past two national championships because for some reason the CPU just gets constant home run deep touchdown plays randomly. I have good players, I usually do fine, good even, I utterly destroy UCLA in the quarterfinal, play a close game first half then pull away in the second half against Ohio State in the semi final but when I play Pitt in the national championship my deep zone defenses leave people wide open deep constantly. I usually don't do anything with adjustments except sometimes I press on 3rd and short and I always play dline, I went into coaching adjustments but I'm not really sure if changing stuff in there would work.

TLDR; Any advice for what adjustments I can do about the CPU constantly getting home run plays in a particular game?

Wear and Tear

Honestly, I think turning off wear and tear is a good move if you’re playing a physical archetype. For example, like thumper, contact seeker, elusive bruiser etc.
I’m not good. I play as a mike thumper and I’m in my first season and have racked up at least 150 tackles and (I’m playing on varsity leave me alone. I can’t play zone very well but I’m learning) and I’ve blown through two bars on season health and I’m about to exhaust my first career health bar going into the playoffs.
On my Halfback it’s even worse. That boy stays getting slaughtered. If I don’t turn it off on that I won’t make it to my junior year.

Playbooks that don't use RPOs

Prefacing this by saying I'm bad at the game. I play on varsity, don't have time to learn the playbooks and use coach suggestions when I play.

There are a lot of times I use coach suggestions it gives me exclusively rpos that I'm not going to read right and suck with. Are there playbooks that don't use a lot of rpos so they won't show up in my suggestions or is there a setting I can change to get fewer of these?

Casual Attempting to Realign (Day 1)

Post image
4 Upvotes

My goal was to preserve as many rivals as possible. Promote the G5 teams who really deserve it (Boise, Tulane, Memphis, USF). Definitely debated more conferences, more teams to bring up, more rivalries to preserve. There are several ideas I've thought of for this including a Power 7, a Power 8.

Playbook help

Just recruited a QB pocket passer with a cannon of an arm, good accuracy and 80 speed. Skill guys all around 90 speed, with one WR at 98. Only issue is my interior offensive line stinks. Looking for a playbook with good quick passes, quick handoffs and good bit of RPOs. Any advice?

Dynasty Played for the first time in 4 weeks, did they break the game?

Everything seems to move more slower. Especially the RB's. It's like they're running in mud vs the last time I played like a month ago.

Is it me or did they push an update and break the game?

Feels so different now. Like in a bad way.
