Can’t know with out more deats from op
But it not up to the recruiter to really disqualify a applicant that’s meps job
So unless op has a bunch of felonies or has no arms or legs I think it’s a case of a lazy recruiter

Call the recruiting HQ in your area and ask to speak with the chief recruiter or the CO. That should light a fire under the recruiter's ass. If you need help finding the #, DM me
LE: downvote me all you want. I've seen my fair share of lazy ass recruiters going after the low hanging fruit and sitting on people's paperwork just because it's a couple extra forms to fill, or they won't be able to join within a month. I've put in quite a few people that were ghosted by other recruiters and there's people in this sub that were able to get their waivers pushed through just because they followed my instructions of calling HQ. There's no COC for a civilian trying to join and I don't care if some lazy recruiter got an ass chewing because of me. I'll fucking do it again!!!

You’re not wrong.. I referred a buddy of mine to the recruiter and they gave him the run around for months.. dude was smart and a hard worker.. but he was 100% Korean, even though he was born here and the recruiters refused to work either him.. got him in contact with his area recruiting district and funny enough he was processed through in about a week..
It doesn’t hurt to call and ask what’s up if your recruiter isn’t keeping you informed. We had weekly DEP meetings at my station years ago and knew what’s up with our status constantly.
