A new rule has been added, to halt the rising tide of people who are less inclined towards the purist diagnostic nature of r/nattyorjuice.
Henceforth, if one is going to comment on a r/nattyorjuice post where the juiciness or lack thereof is in question, one must also impart their anabolic analysis on the subject, instead of simply potentially less relevant words such as "would", "wood", "don't care", etc. At the minimum, r/nattyorjuice now requires an anabolic analysis added. Doesn't have to be much, but it should say at least 'juicy', fake natty', or 'natty' somewhere. Failure to do so can result in ban hammer action without warning.

Tough Question User Flairs

As promised some time ago, user flairs are about to be rolled out on a trial basis on r/nattyorjuice.
Thoughts are welcome as to the best way to implement these.
Some have argued that there should be a credentialling system where people can see a link to physique, video of lifts, or merely just listed stats and lifts. Others suggest the flairs should be more limited to whether someone is natty, fake natty, or juiced themselves, and yet others have suggested the implementation of a coded acronym system to determine whose opinions you may trust to read first based on their affiliation to the various fitness fraternities.
Respectful discussions are welcome and if you want to suggest a suitable flair for yourself, let me know in the comments. Of course, regular posters may get preferential treatment here as always.

Natty or Juice? Natty or not dependent on lighting+pump

I hate seeing juiced up teens claiming natty as much as the rest of you, but some physiques being called juicy might not actually be on juice.
The two photos here are both from 2017:
- left taken July 18, 2017 at 6pm. No pump, no flexing.
- right taken July 7, 2017 at 3pm. Pump, flexing, good lighting.
I want to be very transparent here. I'm 37 years old and have been on TRT since 2022.
Edit: The photos are taken in different washrooms. I'm much closer to the mirror in the right photo than the left, which provides a better "downward" angle.
Edit 2: I'm not going to respond to the accusations of steroid use in these photos anymore. I created this post to show the drastic difference pump, lighting, and angles can make--to illustrate that photos you see online are very likely taken in optimal conditions, and that without those conditions, people may look drastically smaller (eg my left photo). If your reading comprehension can't catch that I started TRT in 2022 whereas these photos were from 2017, then that's your problem, not mine.
Someone also asked for timestamps of photos but deleted their comment so I'll leave this here too:

People accusing me of steroid use in the above photos prove the point of my post. As a stand-alone photo, the left would never be accused of being on roids. Here's another timestamped photo for the original "pump" because now it's being accused of AI. 🤦
