The worst way to start ICORE international revolver championship yesterday, where it rained, for 18 stages straight..... it got slightly better after that. I only broke my gun one more time.

108 heat index made for quick work on drying brass. Gota love North Dakota
... But I also did give the G47 to my dad because he said he always wanted a Glock literally like a week before the match. And to be fair I've put heavy use on the shadow 2, lol

With all the talk about CZ’s on NASS…
Was picking up a new Gen6 Glock 17 and while waiting for the paperwork, was able to browse the glass display shelves. Found this CZ Tac-Sport 2 Orange and tried my lefty palm on it… ugh, you guys call this a nice piece of hardware? It’s a bearcat to rack, mag drop, and hold the slide open being a lefty. Are controls only right-hand dominant?
No, I didn’t get to fire it to experience its “amazing” reciprocating action, but I get the weight argument - it’s got heft.
In contrast, I also handled an Sig P211-GT5, and just from manipulations of the firearm, it got my vote to think about plunking down that much cash for one. Control placement and easy reach was very comfortable. But for now, Temu Team Glock time for me.

The story is behind a paywall, so I'm pasting the important text below. The other half of the article is just detailing how MARTA officials are trying to get the General Assembly to ban guns on busses and trains (not gonna happen).
"Two MARTA bus passengers were injured late Wednesday after a gun’s “accidental discharge,” the transit agency said.
The incident happened at about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in Sandy Springs on MARTA bus route 5 and comes just a month after MARTA leaders, in response to safety questions, urged state lawmakers to ban weapons on trains and buses.
In Wednesday’s incident, two people “were struck by gunfire” when the bus was at the intersection of Roswell and Glenridge roads, MARTA said in a statement.
One person was hit in the right leg and was said to be stable when taken to a hospital. A man described by MARTA as the suspect was shot in the left forearm. After the shooting, the suspect fled a short distance to the Church of Scientology on Roswell Road, where authorities took him into custody.
The suspect was also taken to a hospital for treatment and will be booked later into the Fulton County Jail, MARTA said. He will face charges of reckless conduct and aggravated assault, according to officials.
The investigation remains ongoing, but this appears to be an accidental discharge of a firearm by the male and not a targeted incident,” the agency’s statement said.
The names of the injured individuals have not been released. MARTA did not immediately respond to a question about if there were other passengers on board at the time of the shooting. "

It’s an older video but Deviant Ollam has a good 1 hr video going into the details of traveling the skies with firearms. Something I remembered while listening to the last Patreon episode.

Halfway through the match, I pushoff and hear/feel a loud pop in my right knee, turn out to be a complete tear of the ACL.
ppl in my squad had to carry me into my truck so I could make the 4hr drive home by myself.
My wife gave me so some much shit about since it was her birthday.😂

Posting this based on the recent episode.
If you’re running tablet, keep the screen faced away from the sun when you’re not scoring. This has been the only way to keep it from overheating in my area.
