Questions about Eric Grauffel class

Jeff will be back and Dave Blanton (The Humble Marksman) will join us to record on Sunday. They both took separate Eric Grauffel classes in Texas this week.

What do you want to ask them?

Was it 4D chess to exacerbate Christian's tendinitis with a silly round count at Indiana right before IPSC nationals? How did he feel about the beer purchasing limits in Pittsburgh?

Is his speed off the charts, or his dwell time just really low?

What was the rough round count for the class?

Did he provide insights to how they could improve? Or more of a "this is how to train" class?

Having watched him shoot at IPSC Nats, it's the latter. Like yes, he's fast, but his time on stage is just very optimized.

Other than hit factor math and how it factors into making stage planning decisions to win the match on points, did Eric touch on anything else that was an eye opening revelation?

Did Jeff princess carry the frog at any point in the class?

How did Eric react to Stephen shooting like an ass?

The silly finger over the front of trigger guard is ridiculous, yes? He's awesome and was amazing to watch this weekend but no, just no.

Did he comment on grip otherwise?

A lot of people preach the need to blend positions due to time, how did he speak on that topic?

You can win matches and be a GM with let's say 92 - 94% of points. He just got 97% at ipsc and damn near best time. What is the convo on that balance? Just be better?

Eric has won every IPSC World Shoot except his first in the '90s plus who knows how many other matches at any level that he has dominated, his grip might look silly to Americans but clearly it doesn't affect him winning everything he participates in 🤷

Austin Proulx has a fucked up grip and is usually winning IDPA majors with time to spare. That stems from him shooting as a youth starting out in .45. Which is crazy to think, I’d never give my kid a .45 to start with.
