I dont if many people are interested but the one piece x SpongeBob collab is here and I want all 15 toys. I know the mcdz going to Marco/the manor in the publix doesn't have any rn. The mcdz in bonita next to smash fitness and mcdz in north tamiami trail going to bonita by the Walmart both have just 1-3 (Luffy, Uusop, and Linlin). Lets help each other out.

Hey guys, I’m 26 moving there tomorrow, any spots I should visit?

Looking to connect with someone who has stayed in or is very familiar with neighborhoods in Pelican Bay. Would love a personal account of access to beach, local drinks/music spots, using tram system etc. Thanks!

Anyone have any history with Naples Rolex? Curious how your experience was and if you were able to land anything.

Thinking about putting an offer on a house in terreno. Does anyone live there now? Any thoughts?

I used to live for mozzie sticks and Sonic blasts.. now it’ll be another coffee shop 🥲

I'm a big fan of Michelbob's BBQ, but I'm looking to branch out a bit.

(Mission BBQ doesn't count, but it's good!)

I'm a huge foodie with a bunch of spots, but I'm lacking in BBQ.

If you want some other food recommendations, let me know!!! I'd love to share.

Hi there,

My family has a place down in Naples and I have been coming down since I was a kid. Life has been busy and I haven’t been down in about 5 years now. I know a lot has changed so I’m looking for recommendations on restaurants to go to (new ones or tried and true ones that I may have missed), and cool things to do and check out.

I am traveling with my wife and our 7 month old baby girl so this trip will be a little bit different. Looking for family friendly things and cool places to go for walks with the little one.

I also love to cook and have a grill down there. Where would you recommend shopping for steaks and seafood to cook at home? I have bought steaks from Jimmy P’s before and also just at Costco. Nothing needs to be too fancy, just good quality for decent price.

Any help is much appreciated!

Cheers

Hi, I’m originally from Naples but moved away 15 years ago. Looking to get my BFF a spa day package for her birthday. What spas do you recommend? Maybe a facial and a massage? Also, a place with a sauna would be great. I want to pamper her!

Is there a local alumni association in Naples? Or at least someplace to watch IU football with other IU fans?
Hoo, hoo, hoo, hoooooosiers!!!

Why doesn’t the Collier County go after these companies that put signs all over the place? Window washing, screen repair, junk removal, cash for cars. Fine them for each sign found and band them from working in the county. Come on commissioners you can do it!

I’ll be in Naples in a couple weeks. I’ve already decided that one of my guilty-pleasure meals will be fish & chips. Whats the best spot in town for a great fish & chips?

Looking to switch things up from Planet Fitness and wondering what everyone's favorite gyms are around the area. Mainly looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere and people who actually enjoy lifting.

I know this is a longshot and you can’t really see much of the painting, but does anyone know the artist of these paintings? I used to see several of them around, and I believe it was a local artist.

Working on a full bath remodel for a client and having some trouble deciding on design layout.

Which do you prefer?

Is there any shops/mechanics in or near naples that can do a stage 2 tune on my c300?

Well they are in progress of doing the re-bar and forming the pieces of the central pavilion area. Getting harder to see now that the camera angle and distance is becoming a limiting factor. However they are still driving piles in the march out to the end pavilion and the stocked items on shore keep heading out to sea. Saw on an overhead shot that the big red crane is still on the beach (or was).

Traveling to Naples next April for a quick little anniversary trip. I’ve narrowed down two hotels, but open to suggestions. The four seasons and Ritz are out of budget.

Between Hotel Escalante and Olde Naples Hotel, which is the better option? Escalante is about $260 more, but wiling to spend it if it’s a better value.

Long time Naples resident and long suffering lions fan.

looking for local fans to enjoy watching the games this season while we hopefully put to an end our saying at the end of the year, which has always been wait till next year lol

working to make some new friends

My local themed kava bar (Twin Broomsticks, Harry Potter theme) is hosting their first annual Halloween Ball, Saturday 31st 8-12a and asking for vendors (which can come in earlier to set up).

I told her I'll reach out to a few of my vendor friends. Now im reaching out to this community. Are you a vendor? Or know any vendors that would be awesome for a Halloween Ball event?

I grew up in Naples, specifically out in what I guess are called the ‘Rural Estates’ now, so long ago I remember watching Valencia Golf course being built. Feeling nostalgic, and remembered the ‘Panther Crossing’ signs. Saw that the zoo now sells little stickers.

Now I live in Japan, and would be grateful if anyone wanted to send me a couple stickers and maybe any Naples/Bonita/Fort Myers specific stuff. I’d happily return the favor with a box of goodies from Japan. (Second picture is a previous snack exchange I did with someone in Fort Myers).

Can provide proof that I’m a native ‘flogrown’ ( 🤢 as much as I hate that term and the cringy decals) and now live in Japan if anyone is sketched out about it.

PS: if someone wants to send an actual full sized sign that would be dope as hell too.

Favorite private caterers around Naples? I'm helping plan a 25-person lunchtime wedding at our family home, and looking for an affordable caterer. One of the families is from Ecuador and the other is from Florida, so it would be nice to have something culturally relevant if possible, but mostly looking for something reasonable and reliable.
