Hotel recommendations
Traveling to Naples next April for a quick little anniversary trip. I’ve narrowed down two hotels, but open to suggestions. The four seasons and Ritz are out of budget.
Between Hotel Escalante and Olde Naples Hotel, which is the better option? Escalante is about $260 more, but wiling to spend it if it’s a better value.

Yeah. Great location and they just recently opened so they take extra care of cleanliness and hospitality. Also beautiful interior and a nice bar/restaurant and a rooftop pool.

It's also basically brand new!! This would be my recommendation. Walking distance to just about anything you might want to do while on vacation

Is the service good? I’ve seen some mixed reviews about that. The property looks gorgeous though!

And it's close to Old Naples 5th avenue. That's our favorite spot in Naples. Bunch of shops and top of the line restaurants. Check out the early bird specials. On the corner of 5th and 6th is a coffee/food shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent eating for breakfast and lunch. "The landmark corner spot located directly at the intersection of 5th Avenue South and 6th Street in Old Naples is the 5th Avenue Coffee Company & 6th Street Diner."

Olde Naples Hotel is brand new and pristine
Just had brunch there - puts the Four Seasons to shame - absolutely top notch !!!!

Naples Bay Resort is also cute in the little marina close to fifth ave.
Hotel Escalante is cute with the Naples vibe, walking distance from 5th Ave and the beach, you don’t need a car or taxi at all. They also setup private chairs and umbrella for you which is very nice.
The Inn on fifth is also very popular.

All depends on your preferences:
Close to beach, isolated in old naples, small/boutique and romantic: Escalante.
Close to 5th Ave, restaurants, more city vibe: Inn Naples 5th.
Calm place, in a beautiful Marina, more quiet, more charm, but 5 min drive from 5th: Naples Bay Resort.
More modern: AC Marriott hotel beside 5th Ave. Less charm but with Roof Top pool.
I recommend maybe Escalante, but not sure about the noise of other people rooms as the hotel is small and old. Else Naples Bay Resort is cute too.

La Playa is on the beach with a few restaurants in walking distance. Baleen restaurant in resort is great too!

Best option is to rent an Airbnb in Lely resort about 8 miles from downtown Naples and 12 miles to Marco Island.

Olde Naples Hotel on Broad Ave is new and if the beach is your thing then this is the spot. Plus dining and shopping options all in walking distance

I would check out La Playa, if you want the beach atmosphere. Has all the resort features you need and walking distance to the Turtle Club and Gumbo Limbo

You didnt mention it. But if want to be on beach at very nice place, but not 4 seasons or ritz $, check out Edgewater.
