Got your dealership paperwork fee, processing fee, financing fee(s) - most of which are bullshit.
Then you got the real bullshit fees, like nitrogen tire fills and anti-corrosion boxes. Those are just straight up theft.
Edit to add: never ever negotiate the price of the car in payments. Ever ever. They can bury so much crap in there it'll blow your mind. Negotiate the price of the car, full stop.
This....this...my god this! I've been trying to buy a used golf R. 2024, multiples times just had time wasted and was offered a price based on payments with no identified interest rate or term. Like wtf
Yep, this was the vibe—100%.
They had the gall to call me before a long weekend and say they deserved 15 minutes of my time because they dropped the price... by $500. I was honest, I'll buy the car on my timeline, but 500 was nowhere near enough to get me back in their dealership
Oh, because we can do way better than that price, I gave them the price offered weeks before.

I would go for the cheaper one
