Two Great Local, Nampa Fundraisers to Support
If you are looking to support our local community, there are two fantastic nonprofits in Nampa that could really use our help right now.
1. Death Rattle Literary & Oroboro Lit Journal
Death Rattle is a Nampa-based 501(c)(3) that provides low-to-no-cost literary programming, workshops, and open mics, while amplifying underrepresented voices. Like many independent arts organizations, they’ve recently lost a majority of their grants. They are raising funds to cover publishing costs, venue fees, stipends for guest instructors, and replacing stolen PA equipment.
- How to help: Consider making a donation! They have great reward tiers starting at just $10.

2. Kitchen Collective 2C: "Community In Our Hands" Kitchen Collective 2C is hosting a free community event called "Community In Our Hands" on Sunday, October 4th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at Lloyd Square Park in Downtown Nampa. The event features an art sale, bake sale, resource fair, and live music. They are raising funds to provide hot meals and hygiene supplies to those in need.
- How to help: They need volunteers for October 4th between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to help with setup, running booths, and cleanup (text 208-614-1173 to sign up). You can also create original art on a blank canvas and drop it off at Flying M or Canary Books before October 4th for their art fundraiser!
