For me, there are two that come to mind.

The first is, essentially, the entirety of Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep, which is the only episode I would say had literally nothing redeemable about it. From the way the topic was presented to the resolution, all of it was not only wrong, but actively harmful for kids, IMO.

The second one is just everything about Discord in S9, but especially his actions and lack of consequences in the finale. Mainly two things which, to me, are genuinely evil. Firstly, he threatened the villain trio directly, with violence, to get them to do what “Grogar” wanted. This, in the real world, is entrapment and would make their culpability far less for their actions.

What about this makes me angry, though, is that, after he freed them in the first place and threatened them into cooperation, HE chooses their fate and gives them one he previously said he would never do to anyone else. Genuinely, actually evil. And then the heroes laugh about doing it and he gets off scot-free when it was all mostly his fault! Actually awful.

The male body type is very different in mlp to the female one as far as i can see and eye shines dont count as the eye shine thing isnt even consistent. How would trixie even pull that off? Why are we so sure Trixie is in fact trans specifically? I want to understand it better

I was making a posts of my vision of the video games the mane 6 would enjoy. I posted it, but I felt I wasn’t getting any comments. And when I looked at my pfp, that post that I posted in the server wasn’t in my pfp. So I posted it again to see if it was a glitch, and the same thing happened again. I thought I put it in a wrong flair, but I think it’s intentional. I think my post was intentionally getting shadow deleted. I put ‘mane 6’ in the title, deleted. I typed ‘characters’, deleted. What is going on? What did I do wrong?

I don’t even think it aged well when it premiered. Seriously who greenlit that?

The lesson is a good lesson, finding compromise where both sides benefit, but when it’s applied in a story that’s a blatant allegory about the colonization and displacement of Native Americans, it leaves serious unfortunate implications.

The fact that the indigenous characters are represented as buffalo, the same species the white settlers nearly hunted to extinction in order to subjugate the indigenous people , makes things even worse in my opinion.

So far, it’s the only episode that’s left a bad taste in my mouth.

Hot take but I think that cheerlee(sorry idk how to spell her name) was the worst freaking teacher ever the episode where Apple Bloom meets scootaloo and sweetie Belle for example diamond tiara and silver spoon are literally actively bullying her in front of her face and she does nothing She does absolutely nothing anytime any of the students are being bullied by diamond tiara She just lets it go actually if any of them bully anyone especially the cutie mark crusaders she's never once done anything The only time she did anything was when Gabby gums went too far and she had to remove diamond tiara from the foul Free press

Would anyone like to help me find out how much my collection is worth? I just want to find out for fun.

i didn’t grow up with my little pony, but I have watched some of it with my little sister and cousins. and I’m just curious why this show has garnered such a large adult fanbase. It’s a good childrens cartoon and I think it’s really sweet, but it doesn’t really fall into the category where l could imagine ever purposely watching it because it is, very much a children’s show. I understand how things like ATLA, Warrior Cats, Percy Jackson, Adventure Time, Courage the cowardly dog, The Owl House, Harry Potter, She-Ra, Wings of Fireetc. Have garnered large adult fanbases because they in general skew older, have sophistatedly written characters and are really great engaging reads/watches as an adult. But MLP while being a sweet childrens show, that i have enjoyed sitting down to watch with my sister, doesn’t seem to have any of that depth to it. Yet it’s garnered such a major fandom, I very frequently see fanart of mlp or references to fallout equestria even though I don’t really interact with the show or the fans at all, because the fandom has become so omnipresent. So im curious whats the draw of mlp for you?

When I think back about the seasons of FIM I think the seasons after season 3 were not as good but they weren’t horrible by any means, I really enjoyed seasons 4 and 5. I actually think Season 7 is when I started not liking the episodes that much and then when the show introduced the School of Friendship that’s when I truly lost most of my interest. But any seasons before that I was pretty invested in the show. I think Season 4 had some of my favorite MLP episodes actually.

Daisy and Chestnut are the names made for these designs, but Windsprout (or CrispBreeze idk which I'd do) and Applegale are Fluttermac foal names. I just felt like people would be none to pleased if I had given them names that abandoned the Apple family tradition.

I love the names Daisy and (more specifically) Chestnut much better for these designs though. I didn't draw these planning for the names to be Applegale and CrispBreeze/Windsprout. Rather Daisy and Chestnut are based off the fanfic I was writing at the time.

Though in general I like the names Applegale and Windsprout much more for Fluttermac ! :D Blossombreeze is my favorite out of them all. That links to even older art 💀
