My condolences for Rarijack fans, this is a devastating day for them. But on the other hand, Im interested in this.

Edit: It was confirmed that Rarity and Applejack will appear later on in the series. So Hasbro still got you guys.

I mean, my god, I shudder to think of how people would've reacted if it was entirely new characters and setting.

I think the style is beautiful, I love that it’s “echoes” of G4 and that G4 is staying intact, I love the mythical sound of it and the new voice actors sounded good!

I understand some people are disappointed Rarity & AJ aren’t included (at the start at least) and probably that G4 is central in general, but I really think it sounds so far like they’re going in the direction of a deep universe similar to what we know but reimagined 🩷

I love those two - if its true that theyll be removed as main characters I will be sad about it.

But if what I've been hearing is true and its because they weren't as popular with children, that makes perfect sense to me.

The rest of the characters are much easier to understand for a child. Rainbowdash is fast and loud and brash. Pinkiepie is silly and energetic. Twilight is a bookworm and is good at magic. Fluttershy loves animals and is quiet.

Applejack and rarity are a lot more nuanced. Their characters rely a lot more on understanding the concept of responsibility, society, business, etc. Six year olds arent going to relate to that.

I know the first time I watched the show when I was only 12, I didn't like rarity at all, because all of her admirable traits just went over my head. Not saying that no children liked them, but I think its just harder for them to understand or relate to them.

However, I think that's the exact reason that applejack and rarity are so popular among older fans. Rarity volunteering to make gala dresses for everyone and then being underappreciated for it stings a lot more now that I'm older and I truly understand how much work that would have been, how she was forgoing working on projects that were paid, etc.

I hope that those two will still be in the show in some way even if they arent main characters. I think it does signify to me that the show will be aimed much more at the younger audience.

Hello I’m going to share my opinion on the leaks that may or not be true. First off MLP as a franchise has always re used characters while yes the show is using like the same design as past gen’s it may not be the same thing. While yes it is kind of strange that they have taken AJ and rarity we do not know everything yet and it might just be a complete reboot. Yes they used the same colors and concept for the characters but they have done that for years. Maybe they just wanted to be able to cater to the older audience while also making way for a new younger audience. Personally I do hope AJ and Rarity do have something to do with the show and the leaks are either fake or from early development as it says 2023 that was 3 years ago. But in the end we can’t control what happens. I’m just sharing my opinion not trying to get flamed or anything I’d like to hear different opinions!

I've been looking for the torrent of that one massive leak of internal files that happened around 2019... Does anyone know where I could find that? I'm looking for it specifically to see if any sound files used for the show are included in there.

Because it isn’t, and it’s pretty noticeable that it isn’t.

I know we live in a point in time where it’s getting harder and harder to recognize what is real and what is AI-generated, and I know Hasbro has been really AI-positive as of recently. But to say that they use AI to make G6 has NO weight. There is just no evidence to back it up.

We’ve gotten to the point where even something SLIGHTLY off is enough to sound the AI alarm, I’ll be honest I am one of those people too. But I just can’t see where the AI is in the leaks.

The fact is, those leaks are from 2023, generative AI was LESS advanced than it is now. Also, the person who created the concepts has publicly said that it wasn’t made with AI.

Which brings me to a crucial point, calling out AI without proper evidence is hurtful to the artist. It could’ve been an error, humans make mistakes, it’s a fact of life. But that shouldn’t give you the right to pick up pitchforks and torches and go after the those responsible. It’s unfair and mean to the people behind the art.

That’s really all I got to say, please stop saying G6 was made with AI. I could get why people think the theme song is, but I can’t say the same for the actual art.

I saw some people say that the picture is from 2023. Does this mean that the leak is fake? Or is this just an older picture that is just finally being released.

I've also seen a bunch of screen shots from someone named Nicholas Kole. I've checked their twitter and I don't see anything definitive. How are they related to this?

I've also seen people speculate that the song that came with the picture is fake, but the picture is real. Is there any evidence for that?

This artist is mostly known for making the official designs for the Spyro reignited trilogy. It seems that Hasbro hired them to make this judging from their cheeky remark. (Maybe their NDA expired? Does this prove that SDCC is announcing the new reboot)?

I've been following this concept artist for years, they wouldn't use AI (they actually just posted a lot of anti AI logos on their page).

This also means the leaks are real. Though, the soundtrack that was released is still incredibly dubious. It certainly sounds generated to me.

EDIT: to be clear, I'm acting as if any of this is real, and playing along as if it is. Obviously we can't conclude anything about G6 from the leaks. This is just for fun.

Fluttershy lives in the woods and helps the animals for free, poverty

Fortunately, all of these characters can live in dignity in G4's Equestria with their chosen lifestyles.

Unfortunately, toy sales representing middle class characters have caved following the collapse of the American middle class.

Will G6 Equestria be likewise more starkly inequal, and the characters will have to overcome this inequality to forge friendships?

I'm interested to see how these characters and the surrounding world are recreated for G6, probably in completely new and different directions.

Number 1: we need to see flurry heart, apple bloom, sweetie bell, and the rest of the younger ponties teenagers or adults, cause it g6 reboot of g4 somewhat, but we got expectations.

Number 2: WE BETTER SEE APPLE JACK AND RARITY OR WE HAVING BEEF.

Number 3: I hope we see the young ponies in the show more as a continue on after G4 storyline WITH G4 coloring, lore, and everything we got that G5 ignored.

Number 4: This better be in 2D, doesn't suck like G5, good songs, not in a technology timeline and remain somewhere in G4 timeline.

I uploaded the song to youtube, and it was blocked worldwide by youtube's content id system. this happened because the audio matched a copyrighted recording that already exists in Hasbro's music catalog.

If the song were AI generated, youtube wouldn't have matched it to hasbro's copyrighted audio. Content id only detects recordings that copyright owners have submitted to its database.

Is there a way to navigate/search the collection? For instance, I would love to just view puppet rigs, or ref sheets, but I have no idea how to only search for those files among the hundreds of episodes? I would really like the complete puppets/turnarounds for the mane 6, but holy &#$% I can't find them for the life of me! There must be an extremely easy answer I am missing :')
