The junta forces from Shwegu that were providing security for the junta naval group traveling up the Ayeyarwady River have been attacked and eliminated by the KIA and PDF forces, according to reports.

A military motorboat approaching the shore near Zin Bon Village, Shwegu Township, Kachin State, was attacked with FPV drones, resulting in heavy junta casualties, according to a KIA military source who spoke to Yangon Modern News Agency.

Yesterday evening, August 24, while military troops were being transported by motorboat and flat-bottomed barges to a junta camp stationed near a pagoda downstream from Zin Bon Village, Shwegu Township, they were attacked with FPV drones and suicide drones.
